In a recent interview with Bustle, the 28-year-old admitted to having a nose job, but jokingly said people now tell her she resembles Michael Jackson. She also revealed she’s had veneers and numerous cosmetic procedures, including salmon sperm facials and a Botox treatment called the “Nefertiti” neck lift.
The Sports Illustrated model joked that she always looks like Freddy Krueger around Christmas time.
Although Brooks acknowledges that the modeling industry has unrealistic beauty expectations, she also admits that losing thirty pounds with the help of a GLP-1 medication has led to more job opportunities for her.
She explained that if she didn’t land a job, she’d ask her agency for client feedback. That feedback was direct: she needed to lose 30 pounds. She wasn’t upset by this at all, saying she doesn’t dwell on negativity. Instead, she focuses on what needs to be done, thinking, ‘They want me to lose weight, so how do I make that happen?’
I really noticed a change in my career when I started using GLP-1 medications,” the Dancing With the Stars contestant explained. “I’m not saying it’s a good thing, or even the right thing to do. Everyone’s body is different, but I did lose 30 pounds, and that’s when I started getting a lot more work.
