■ Yakuza 3 Kiwami
● Story: When the Peace is Shattered, the Dragon of Dojima Makes His Return
Following the battle against the Omi Alliance, Kazuma Kiryu passes leadership of the Tojo Clan to Daigo Dojima and moves to Okinawa with Haruka to start a new life.
He manages Morning Glory, an orphanage linked to his adoptive father, Shintaro Kazama, and enjoys a peaceful life with the children in his care. However, this tranquility is threatened by a new resort project supported by the government.
Things are really heating up! The orphanage I care about is caught in a power struggle, and the Tojo Clan is tearing itself apart over who’s going to be the next boss. It’s becoming clear there’s a huge conspiracy going on, and it goes all the way to the top, into the world of politics. As all this explodes, Kiryu’s gotta jump into the fray, dealing with trouble both in Okinawa and back in Tokyo. It’s going to be a wild ride!

● Characters
Goro Majima (portrayed by Hidenari Ugaki)
Tojo Clan Lieutenant and Majima Family Patriarch

I don’t tolerate weakness. If you can’t handle pressure or perform at a high level, don’t bother trying to tell me what to do.
Known as the ‘Mad Dog of Shimano,’ he’s famous for his erratic and unpredictable actions, which intimidate everyone around him – both his allies and enemies.
Honestly, Majima is completely fixated on Kiryu – he’s always looking for a fight with him! Even though he tried to go legit and started his own construction business, he dropped everything and came back to the Tojo Clan when Kiryu asked him to. It’s like Kiryu just has to suggest something and Majima is all in.

Yoshinobu Suzuki (portrayed by Michitaka Kobayashi)
Land, Infrastructure, and Transport Minister

I’m deeply committed to improving life for the people of Okinawa, and I take that responsibility very seriously.
Suzuki supports the development of a high-end resort in Okinawa, believing it will attract more tourists. He disagrees with Defense Minister Tamiya’s proposal to increase military presence in the area.

The Man in Black (portrayed by Charles Glover)

“This is the end of the line for you, Kazuma Kiryu!”
A man clad in a black coat who ambushes Kiryu. Everything about him is a complete enigma.

The Stranger (portrayed by Tetesuya Watari)

“I’ll see you again… in hell.”
This individual shot Daigo Dojima while he was at Tojo Clan headquarters. He looks remarkably like Shintaro Kazama, who was Kiryu’s adoptive father.
Both his objectives and identity remain a mystery.

● Battle
Dragon of Dojima: Kiwami Style
This is the most advanced version of the Dragon of Dojima fighting style, offering more moves than ever before in the series. It’s a powerful and aggressive style that truly captures the spirit of Kazuma Kiryu’s legendary fighting.
As always, Kiryu can pick up objects on the ground and transform them into powerful weapons!

—Heat Actions
In Dragon of Dojima: Kiwami Style, Kiryu can perform powerful Heat Actions, using both his hand-to-hand combat skills and whatever’s around him in the environment.
Along with the popular moves from the original Yakuza 3, you’ll also have access to a bunch of new and powerful Heat Abilities!

—Dragon Boost
Kiryu can become more powerful by filling his gauge and using Dragon Boost. When he does, he can perform devastating finishing moves, like powerful piledrivers and incredible throws.
Use Kiryu’s Dragon Finisher to deliver a devastating final attack.

Ryukyu Style
This fighting style draws inspiration from Okinawan martial arts. It starts with a defensive stance using a shield and short spear. Players can perform a variety of quick and visually impressive attacks with weapons like sais, nunchaku, and tonfas by simply pressing or holding buttons.
Shield yourself from incoming bullets with the tinbe and turn the tide of battle!

—Heat Actions
The Ryukyu style also has access to highly technical Heat Actions incorporating Okinawan weaponry.
You can add special Heat Actions to your attacks after performing a normal combo. Unleash a series of hits, then finish with one of these powerful techniques to quickly defeat your enemies!

—Dragon Boost
Kiryu can power up by maxing out his gauge and activating his Dragon Boost.
Switch to this mode while fighting in Ryukyu Style to maximize Kiryu’s combat abilities. You’ll be able to throw sai like projectiles, pull enemies closer with the nichogama, and unleash a devastating Dragon Finisher!

Upgrading Abilities: Hone Yourself Through Training
Kiryu can now learn more skills than ever before! Complete missions and training exercises to customize his abilities and build him into the fighter you want.
In Yakuza Kiwami 3, you can now improve Kiryu’s skills in a unique way. Personalize his phone with different accessories and charms to increase his motivation, which will make him even stronger.

■ Dark Ties
● Story: A Man Drawn into the Heart of the Underworld
It’s 2007. Yoshitaka Mine had previously built a thriving company, but a business partner betrayed him. Lost and drunk in Kamurocho, he sees a violent fight between rival yakuza groups. Witnessing a member of Daigo Dojima’s crew make a selfless sacrifice, Mine becomes fascinated by what creates a connection stronger than money.
I’ve been following the story closely, and it’s amazing to see how Mine starts by trying to get information about Daigo. He manages to impress Tsuyoshi Kanda, and they quickly become like brothers, with Kanda trusting him as his right-hand man. Together, they really boost the Nishikiyama Family’s finances! But things get tense when the Tojo Clan finds out what they’ve been up to, and they start to react. Watching Mine and Kanda deal with the fallout, you can really feel a bond developing between them – it’s like they’re becoming true family.
Mine starts to wonder if he’s finally found the connection he’s been longing for when he unexpectedly receives an invitation from Daigo Dojima.

● Battle
Battle Style: Stylish Shoot-Boxing Combat
My character fights with a graceful, shoot-boxing inspired style. Look for weaknesses in your opponent’s guard to unleash smooth combo attacks and take them down. I can also quickly dash through the air, using unpredictable movements to overwhelm enemies.
You can still use many of the same fighting moves from the original Yakuza 3. Don’t hold back – fight without mercy!

—Dark Awakening
Mine gains power by defeating enemies, storing it as ‘Shackled Heart’. She can then use this stored power to activate ‘Dark Awakening’, which significantly boosts her abilities.
With Dark Awakening, Mine sheds his calm exterior and unleashes his savage side, completely changing how he fights. He enters a furious rage, relentlessly attacking his enemies with brutal strikes and dragging them across the ground.
Let your dark side loose and go wild in battle!

—Heat Actions
My character has a lot of cool and powerful attacks, like a direct hit to the face and a devastating punch to the stomach. When he enters Dark Awakening mode, these attacks become even stronger. Unleash his dark side and destroy your opponents!

Upgrading Abilities: Unlocking Mine’s Callous Ferocity
Upgrading Mine enhances his fighting skills, making his moves more effective and allowing him to perform special attacks while airborne.
Several improvements are now available for Dark Awakening! Strengthen Mine’s confidence and power to defeat enemies quickly!
