
Alan Ritchson is being eyed for a role in James Gunn’s DC Universe.
So, I was reading an interview with Alan Ritchson over at ScreenRant, where he was talking about his new movie, Playdate. The interviewer, Liam Crowley, naturally asked about the possibility of him joining James Gunn’s DCU. And get this – Ritchson pretty much confirmed he’s actually in talks! He even described the potential role as being a bit of a “messier” character, which honestly sounds amazing. He didn’t say much more, but it’s definitely exciting news for fans like me!
I’ve been talking to the producers about wanting to play a more flawed and complex character. I explained the type of personality I had in mind and how it could fit into the show’s world, and I think everyone agrees it’s something audiences are looking for right now. Basically, I want to play someone a little rougher around the edges than the usual hero.
