Russell Crowe‘s beautiful mind is focused on his health.
The Academy Award-winning actor lost 25.1 kilograms (55 pounds) after finishing work on the movie Nuremberg more than a year ago. He attributes his weight loss, in part, to drinking less alcohol.
You know, as someone who’s always enjoyed a good drink, I’ve definitely learned a thing or two about how our bodies change as we get older. I was chatting with Joe Rogan recently, and I shared that it’s all about understanding your limits. It’s not about stopping necessarily, but being aware of what you can handle as the years go by.
Now that I’m getting older, I’ve realized that going out once a week, when I’m really enjoying myself, is enough. I try to avoid just filling time with unimportant activities.
That’s why Crowe now waits for a special occasion to drink.
He told Joe Rogan that if he chooses to have wine with dinner, he makes sure it’s something special. He avoids drinking just to drink, explaining that those casual drinks can really add up over time.
Russell Crowe, known for his role in Gladiator, also attributed much of his weight loss to getting treatment for old injuries. He explained that injections for arthritis in his shoulders and knees have helped reduce inflammation throughout his body.
He explained that a problem area, which was quite severe a year ago, has improved significantly, likely by around 70 percent overall. A specific spot on his right shoulder has seen even more improvement, around 90 percent.

Crowe mentioned to Rogan that he’s been transforming his body gradually, but he’s pleased with his progress so far.
“Now things are really exciting!” the A Beautiful Mind actor said with a laugh. “Everything is going well.”

The Bravo host detailed his health and fitness journey using an Ozempic-like drug.
During a September 2025 episode of his SiriusXM radio show, Andy Cohen Live, the 57-year-old revealed he’d lost a significant amount of weight over the summer by using a GLP-1 medication. He explained he’d been unhappy with his weight and, after discussing it with his doctor last year, decided to try the medication. His doctor had previously suggested it not only to address his weight concerns, but also to help with plaque buildup in his arteries and high blood pressure. Cohen said the medication offers several health benefits, and he ultimately agreed to start taking it.
He explained that it significantly reduced his cravings, which had been a major struggle, and helped him stay disciplined with both his diet and exercise routine.

The singer shared in November 2024 that he had lost 120 pounds.
Jelly Roll explained he shared his personal challenges openly, specifically on his wife Bunnie XO’s podcast, Dumb Blonde, because he wants to be honest with people about his difficulties.
You know, something I’ve always wanted to share is this: my success wasn’t because of my size, it was actually in spite of it. I really want people to understand that – overcoming challenges, not avoiding them, is what truly made the difference for me.

Oh my gosh, did you see her? She just seems…brighter, you know? She said the doctors told her she was pre-diabetic, and she totally took charge! She’s been losing weight because she’s finally listening to her doctor – apparently she hadn’t been for a couple of years! And she’s doing SO well with it, like 90% of the time! She said a protein-rich diet is just naturally good for her anyway, which is amazing. I’m so proud of her for taking care of herself!
She is a Texas girlie after all, “so I like meat—sorry, vegetarians in the world!”
The mother of River and Remington is settling into her new life in New York City and enjoying the change of pace. She joked that walking around the city is great exercise, and she’s been focusing on wellness lately, trying out infrared saunas and recently giving in to requests for a cold plunge.
The popular weight loss drug wasn’t part of her plan. She explained on The Kelly Clarkson Show in May 2024 that her doctor had been suggesting it for two years, but she was hesitant because of existing thyroid issues. While many assume it was Ozempic, she clarified it was a different medication – one that helps her body process sugar more effectively.

Everyone’s getting health advice from a media icon who’s feeling fantastic! She’s sharing what helps her stay in shape, and it’s not just one thing. As she told Entertainment Tonight, it’s a combination of treadmill workouts, hiking, drinking plenty of water, and eating healthy foods – it’s everything working together.
Oprah Winfrey recently shared that she’s using a weight loss medication, though she hasn’t revealed which one. In an interview with People magazine, she described it as a welcome relief, saying that having a medically approved option for managing weight feels like a gift. She explained she’s finished with the shame and criticism she’s faced in the past, both from others and herself.

The HGTV personality demonstrated a remarkable life change, sharing details of his two-year fitness journey in an Instagram post from July 2023.
He explained that sometimes what seems like the right path isn’t, and you need someone to guide you to truly improve. While he used to occasionally do hot yoga with his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, he admitted he hadn’t been following a consistent fitness plan, monitoring his diet, or getting any professional advice.
Nutritionist Sean Torbati emphasizes the importance of both diet and exercise for overall well-being. The father of three shared that he focuses on eating healthy and doing hot yoga once or twice a week, which he finds beneficial for both his mental and physical health. He believes success ultimately depends on staying motivated and persistent.
He had a turning point when he truly understood how much he desired to feel good and stay healthy – not just for himself, but for his family and future. That’s when he fully committed and started working towards his goals!

The cohost of The View shared that she used Mounjaro, a drug for type 2 diabetes, to lose weight after gaining weight in 2021.
She revealed on a recent talk show that she once weighed close to 300 pounds. She explained that after using steroids in the past, she’s been able to lose weight with the help of a medication called Mounjaro, which she currently uses.

The Grammy-winning artist is aware people noticed her weight loss and resulting physical changes. She attributes this to a combination of healthy eating, regular exercise, and the use of a weight loss medication called GLP-1.
In a March 2025 Instagram post, she shared that she’s been prioritizing her health after her second pregnancy. She worked with a nutritionist, made significant changes to her daily routine, and began training with a fitness professional. She also mentioned using medication (Mounjaro) along with professional guidance, and is happy with the positive results she’s achieved, saying she feels great.

The reality star is confident in herself, with or without anyone’s approval. She recently addressed rumors about weight loss, posting on Instagram in February, “I really don’t like talking about this, but I haven’t had any procedures to lose weight.”
She’s lost 100 pounds, bringing her weight down from 385 to 285, including 50 pounds lost after her mother, Barbara “Babs” Thore, passed away in December 2022. She’s maintained this weight of 285 pounds for almost a year now.
Simply put, she said she appreciated the compliments, but she doesn’t like focusing on appearances – either her own or anyone else’s.

As someone who’s always followed celebrity style and body image trends, I was really struck by a recent Instagram post from this actress. She’s clearly confident and comfortable in her own skin, no matter where she is – whether it’s Cleveland, LA, or anywhere else – and she shared some really refreshing thoughts on what it means to feel good in your body.
The Food Network host shared a bikini photo from 2014 and talked about body image. She explained that, at 5’4″ and 150 pounds, she used to worry about being considered ‘overweight’ by societal standards, but now avoids weighing herself because she finds those standards silly and regrets letting them bother her for so long.
Free from the stress of dieting, she realized she was a kind, funny, and thoughtful person. She emphasized that your worth and personality shouldn’t be defined by your size or weight – you are valuable and perfect just as you are.
As for anyone that might not agree, she summed up, “F–k ‘em.”

The musician says he feels fantastic and like a rockstar after losing 55 pounds. In an Instagram post from April 2023, he shared that many people have asked about his weight loss and how it’s affecting his performances. He explained he’s really enjoying performing and feels healthier than ever.
He explained that becoming a father in 2022 was a major motivation for him to get healthy. He quit drinking soda and started eating better, wanting to be around for his daughter for a long time. He plans to quit smoking and drinking alcohol next, but says he’s taking things one step at a time.

She admitted feeling a lot of pressure to lose weight after having her son, Sidney, in November 2022. She told TopMob News that losing 85 pounds became her main focus. She explained she became so focused on it because she just wanted to avoid people talking about her body and be left alone.
Okay, so she doesn’t exactly want everyone to copy her hardcore method – she admitted it was brutal! She said it took so much effort, and honestly, it sounded awful – she was constantly hungry. But, and this is the important part, she’s absolutely thrilled with how it turned out. Like, seriously, she’s so happy with the results, it makes all the suffering worth it, you know?

The actor, known for his role on Roseanne, has experienced many ups and downs with his health. He used to drastically lose weight for a few months, then fall back into unhealthy habits. As he explained in 2017, he’s now focusing on a slower, more sustainable approach – incorporating movement and exercise into his routine. He feels it’s important to stay active as he gets older.
He’s kept off 200 pounds by focusing on a healthy lifestyle: lots of walking and a Mediterranean diet rich in fish, vegetables, and nuts. He told Men’s Health it requires ongoing effort, but he considers it a rewarding one.

Following a type 2 diabetes diagnosis and the loss of his father and brother to heart attacks, the host of The Price Is Right committed to improving his diet.
He told Entertainment Tonight that his secret to success was cutting out all carbohydrates. He explained he avoids everything from bread and pizza to corn and beans, and even limits himself to egg whites or Greek yogurt with a little fruit for breakfast. He admitted to occasionally indulging, but generally sticks to a completely carb-free diet, not even allowing a single cracker.
And to wash it all down, “I don’t drink anything but water,” he said. “No coffee, no tea, no soda.”

After losing an incredible 440 pounds, the star of 1000-lb Sisters has achieved some amazing new experiences, all captured on her TLC show. She’s now been able to fly on a plane, buckle her seatbelt, ride in the front seat of a car, go up in a hot air balloon, and enjoy rides at Disney World.
In a recent TikTok video, Slaton shared how much it means to her to be able to do everyday things like buckle her seatbelt without needing an extension. She explained that she hadn’t been able to do simple tasks like that for years, and doesn’t take it for granted.
I’m really proud of what I’ve accomplished,” the reality star explained. “I’ve worked hard to lose weight and now I’m finally enjoying life to the fullest. It feels good to be able to say that I’m truly living.”

The Vanderpump Rules star is focusing on health and well-being. She’s back on the Jenny Craig plan and hoping to see progress, but her main goal is to be a healthy role model for her son. She told TopMob News in February that while losing weight would be great, it’s more important to show her and Jax Taylor’s son, Cruz, how to live a healthy lifestyle.
The future star of The Valley explained that she wants to model a healthy lifestyle for him. She emphasized how important exercise is for both her physical and mental well-being, and believes a positive health journey is crucial for her own happiness.

All her hard work and dedication to strength training has clearly paid off for the musician, resulting in a noticeable physical transformation.
In a 2023 interview with People magazine, the star shared how proud they are of their progress. They explained that fitness is now a key part of their life, and they’ve consistently made time for exercise and prioritized their well-being.
She’s been working incredibly hard, and mentioned she might start offering intense workout sessions, which she playfully called ‘Hottie Bootcamp.’ She described one example as a challenging combination of exercises like deadlifts, jump rope, lunges, and mountain climbers. In a video, she jokingly said the workout was extremely difficult, but added that it was clearly helping to build muscle and tone legs.

After giving birth to her daughter, Atlas, just months before the COVID-19 pandemic began in March 2020, she told TopMob News she felt incredibly unmotivated. With everything suddenly stopping, she decided to just let go and not worry about things.
She abandoned her workout routine and healthy eating habits when the pandemic hit. After a few months of having a baby, she fell into a pattern of eating whatever she wanted, and it left her feeling unhappy with her body. She longed to feel good again.
She was excited but also a little unsure when she first heard about trying Openfit’s 4 Weeks of Focus program with trainer Kelsey Heenan.
After consistently starting her days for a month with warm water and lemon, plus a 30-minute workout that mixed cardio, HIIT, and strength training, she was completely convinced it worked. She explained her new approach to food, saying she’d still enjoy treats like pizza, but balance them with healthier choices like adding spinach. She was surprised by how much stronger she’d become, admitting she’d never lifted such heavy weights before in her life.

The fitness influencer, known online as Fat Girl Fed Up, recently shared on Instagram that she didn’t reach her weight loss goal of dropping below 200 pounds. Despite this, she decided to focus on her progress and still celebrate her achievements. She believes it’s important not to get discouraged by minor setbacks.
She reminded herself that even small steps forward still count as progress. While acknowledging she’d put in a lot of effort this week, she stayed positive, recognizing that losing weight would take time – she didn’t gain it all at once, so it wouldn’t come off quickly either. Her mantra was to just keep moving forward, regardless of the challenges.
She’s confident she can achieve her health goals. “I’m going to reach my ideal state,” she stated, “whether it takes a week or a year, we’ll get there eventually. Just keep moving forward, believe in yourself, and focus on making progress, not achieving perfection.”

The Queer Eye star was determined to improve their fitness for more challenging gymnastics, and they’ve really succeeded in transforming their health.
In an August 2022 TikTok video, they revealed they’d lost 35 pounds since starting to work with a nutritionist in April. They explained their motivation was to improve their physique for gymnastics and their career.
They did warn, though, not to expect immediate results. The author of Love That Story shared that it took three weeks of consistent effort before they noticed any difference. So, if you’re trying to change your fitness or diet, be prepared to work at it for about three weeks before seeing noticeable progress.

I was so impressed when she decided to really commit to a new fitness plan before turning 30 in 2022! It felt like a fresh start for her, and I’ve been following her journey ever since.
Growing up, I was always self-conscious and wore a shirt even when swimming. That’s why, when I hit my late twenties, I decided I really wanted to transform my body and get seriously into fitness. I posted a picture on Instagram back in April and jokingly called it my ‘meat head post’ – it was all about embracing that physical change!
He said it was a tough journey getting in shape with weights and kettlebells, but he’s proud of how far he’s come and still plans to keep going.

Everyone has ups and downs, and things don’t always go as planned. This became clear when the actress openly shared on Instagram in January 2024 that she had regained 13.6 kilograms after successfully reaching her weight goal of 75 kilograms in 2020.
Wilson admitted she’s been struggling to maintain her healthy habits due to a busy filming schedule. She’d previously shared how she overcame emotional eating and switched to a diet focused on protein instead of carbs, but now finds it difficult to fit in her boxing and hiking workouts.
Wilson confessed that stress caused them to gain weight, which negatively impacted their self-esteem. They acknowledged it wasn’t logical to feel this way, but admitted that it did.

Giving up his favorite beers? Okay. And dedicating himself to intense daily workouts – like the P90X program, kickboxing, and running, as he told Men’s Journal? No problem.
For Chris Pratt, the most challenging aspect of his 60-pound weight loss—going from his role as Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation to a superhero in Guardians of the Galaxy—was the massive amount of water he had to drink: one ounce for every pound he weighed each day.
“I was peeing all day long, every day,” he explained. “That part was a nightmare,”

Okay, so Paul Rudd was always adorable, like, a total classic. But even I did a double-take when I heard he was going to be Ant-Man! It was so unexpected, even though looking back, it totally makes sense that he would be the one to pull it off. I mean, he’s just… perfect!
Paul Rudd recalled that when he was cast in the movie, many people were surprised, reacting with something like, ‘Paul Rudd as a superhero? Is that really happening?’ He shared this with Variety magazine in 2015.
He understood his task. Like Chris Pratt preparing for an action role, he decided to dedicate himself completely – sacrificing enjoyment for a year to achieve the necessary physique and skills to play the hero.

After having her older children, the author of the Just Eat book returned to the South Beach diet to help her feel like herself again. She told TopMob News that the protein-rich plan worked quickly. “I started the program, exercised, and immediately felt better,” she said.
Before anything else, she’s fully embracing the time after giving birth. Decker, a mom to Vivianne, Eric Jr., Forrest, and Denver (born February 2024), emphasizes, “That should be the last thing on your mind.” She advises new mothers not to focus on weight loss immediately after having a baby. Instead, she encourages them to prioritize feeding and bonding with their newborn, allowing their body time to heal. “You’ll know when you’re ready,” she says. “Don’t let your mind pressure you to lose weight. You’ll naturally feel when you have the energy to be active again.”

He’s been enjoying the results of his workouts, including a noticeable six-pack. He’s been training for 90 minutes at a time and eating a much healthier diet – lots of lean protein and vegetables, while avoiding sugary drinks like soda, as he told People magazine.
What really motivates him is achieving a long list of personal goals. He’s particularly passionate about outdoor adventures. “I have a lot of life goals beyond acting, and many of them involve being outdoors,” he said. “I want to get in shape so I can climb some of the huge rock formations in Yosemite, and I’m determined to hike the Pacific Crest Trail—that’s the whole coast from Mexico to Canada and back.”

After giving birth to her daughter Kingsley in September 2022, the former Twilight star realized something important: she admitted in an Instagram post in January 2023 that her body wouldn’t fully return to how it was before, and she’s coming to terms with that.
If she ever feels overwhelmed, she has a coping strategy that’s just as valuable as getting back into her exercise routine after having a baby.
She told TopMob News that looking into her daughter’s eyes – whom she affectionately calls her “sweet angel” – helps her focus on gratitude instead of being overly critical of herself. She considers this a helpful trick, explaining that it’s easy to be self-critical no matter what you do.
