It’s clear that many of us face the challenge of affording multiple high-quality streaming services simultaneously. Given our current financial climate, it’s tough for most people to accommodate all eight main subscriptions in their budget. Lately, I’ve chosen to part ways with my Hulu subscription from my Disney+ bundle package to enjoy ad-free viewing on Disney+ at an additional cost of $5 per month. However, after reconsidering what’s coming up on Hulu, I’m finding myself rethinking that decision.
I Might Need To Resubscribe To Hulu For The Upcoming Alien TV Show
In simple terms, Disney+ and Hulu have teamed up to offer a sneak peek at their future television lineups in 2025, and there’s plenty of intriguing new content that fans can start getting excited about!
The one-minute video (on YouTube) provides initial glimpses of numerous upcoming series. It features previews for Glen Powell’s football series titled “Chad Powers“, Ryan Murphy’s show named “All’s Fair“, the second season of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians“, a series called “The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox“, Marvel’s “Wonder Man“, “Alien: Earth“, a reboot of “King of the Hill” and Season 5 of “Only Murders in the Building“.
After watching it for the first time, Alien: Earth has undoubtedly become my most eagerly awaited film.
I’m absolutely thrilled about the science-fiction horror series based on the Xenomorphs, as seeing them star in their own TV show has long been a cherished aspiration of mine. Moreover, the fact that the production quality appears top-notch is an added bonus. Additionally, I’m well aware that “Alien: Earth” hails from the creative mind behind shows such as “Fargo” and “Legion,” Noah Hawley. This new installment will bring the franchise down to Earth instead of space.
The series premieres on August 12, and I think I need to resubscribe to Hulu so I can watch it…

Combine Disney Plus and Hulu for an unbeatable deal at only $10.99 per month! By opting for this bundle instead of subscribing separately to each service, you’ll save money while enjoying both platforms. The bundle offers mature content along with your beloved Star Wars, Marvel, and classic Disney shows. For an ad-free experience, upgrade to the $19.99 tier per month. Grab this fantastic offer now!

And, I Have To See The New Season Of Only Murders In The Building
Among the series listed, it’s “Only Murders in the Building” that has me yearning for my Disney+/Hulu bundle once more. The final season concluded in October, and I had assumed a lengthy wait was ahead, but surprise! It seems it’s set to air this summer or fall instead.
I’m eagerly anticipating the new season since it promises to reveal who committed the murder from last season, featuring our favorite trio – Oliver, Mabel, and Charles. Guess Hulu will be benefiting from my subscription once more.
Even though football isn’t really my thing, I’m a fan of Glen Powell, so I might give the series Chad Powers a chance too, since it seems intriguing. To be honest, from what I’ve seen, All’s Fair looks like it could be entertaining. If we share similar tastes, you’ll be glad to know there are two choices for us. One is to go back to the standard Disney+/Hulu plan for $10.99, or opt for the premium plan at a slightly higher cost of $19.99. It doesn’t add up for me to choose a Hulu-only plan, given that it costs either $9.99 with ads or $18.99 without ads on its own.
I’m absolutely looking forward to including these Hulu shows in my watchlist come late summer. For now, though, I plan to keep my hiatus going and eagerly anticipate resuming my subscription later on!
