As a huge fan of My Hero Academia, I’m a little worried about the rumor that the final season will only be 11 episodes. It seems like a lot of the extra content Horikoshi-sensei added to the manga after the initial ending might not make it into the anime. After the manga finished, he released two extra chapters and two epilogue chapters that really fleshed out the ending and gave us more closure with the characters – honestly, it’s the ending most of us fans have embraced, and I’d hate to see those important moments cut!
If the anime concludes using only the content currently available in Shonen Jump, reactions will likely be varied. The original manga ending was memorable, but sparked months of discussion among fans who questioned if it properly concluded Deku’s story. The release of additional epilogue chapters eventually resolved those debates. However, it remains to be seen how the anime adaptation will handle the ending.
