Stormcloud Games, known for their 2016 game Brut@l, has revealed their next project, Junkster. This new 3D action platformer is planned for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC through Steam, though a specific launch date hasn’t been announced yet.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
Junkster is an exciting 3D platformer where you can build as you play. You control UM-13, a small robot who crash-lands on a junkyard planet. Using just a wrench, Um needs to find parts to fix his ship and rescue important human treasures that were lost in the crash.
A cargo ship from outer space crashes on a planet full of dangerous junk, and it’s up to a small, resourceful construction robot named UM-13 – or UM, as he’s known – to fix things!
With just a wrench and a lot of ingenuity, Um travels the galaxy, turning junk into something a little more useful. He’s on a mission to fix his ship and find the valuable pieces of human history that he lost along the way.
Junkster is a comic book series where Um battles exciting and dangerous enemies – trash mutants and rebellious robots – in every issue.
As a special bonus, each exciting issue comes complete with a Junkster toy to add to your collection.
