Serafini Productions and Sochiku recently released a new trailer for their psychological horror game, BrokenLore: Unfollow. The game is a first-person horror experience that explores how social media can negatively affect mental health. You can watch the trailer below to get a look at the game’s unsettling creatures and spooky environments.
In BrokenLore: Unfollow, you play as Anne, a young woman trapped in a disturbing nightmare after experiencing bullying. To escape, she needs to unravel a troubling mystery and face the creatures tormenting her. Along the way, she’ll have to confront her past decisions while avoiding being discovered by the monsters that wander the nightmare world.
The horror game delves into serious topics like mental health, bullying, and body image issues, using symbolism to convey these themes. Your choices as the player will determine which of the multiple endings you unlock in BrokenLore: Unfollow. The game also heavily features the protagonist Anne’s smartphone, which plays a key role in both the story and gameplay.
BrokenLore: Unfollow is coming to PC and PS5 on January 16.
