I think several Marvel heroes would actually do very well if they moved to the DC Universe. While both universes are filled with heroes, villains, and major conflicts, they have different flavors. Marvel generally focuses on heroes whose powers come from science, while DC leans more towards myth and magic, at least in a general sense.
As a lifelong movie fan, I’ve always loved the idea of Marvel and DC characters sharing a universe. Let’s be real, though – the companies would never actually trade heroes (the closest they came was a deal that fell through back in the ’90s). But it’s fun to imagine! Some Marvel characters would really shine in the DC Universe, either because they’d fit right into existing teams or just because the overall tone of DC would suit them better. With these crossovers happening again, I started thinking about which Marvel heroes would actually thrive if they made the jump to the DCU permanently.
4. Doctor Strange

The DC Universe is full of magic, and Doctor Strange is one of the best magical heroes out there. He’d easily find a place in the DC world, potentially joining Justice League Dark or hanging out with characters like Blue Devil and Detective Chimp at the Oblivion Bar. It would also be amazing to see how he’d interact with another powerful magician, Zatanna.
3. Daredevil

Let me pitch you something a little wild: Daredevil in Gotham. I’m not suggesting he’d become a Robin or anything, though his radar sense actually gives him a bit of a bat vibe! But honestly, I think he’d be a fantastic addition to that city, operating like a street-level hero similar to the Question. Imagine Matt Murdock fighting for the little guy during the day and then taking on Gotham’s colorful rogues – Two-Face, the Riddler – at night. As long as he respects Batman’s territory, Daredevil could seriously thrive in the Dark Knight’s world.
2. Captain America

A sad part of Captain America’s story is how out of place he often feels in today’s world. Luckily, the Justice Society offers a group who share his respect for the World War II era. He’d be highly valued among the JSA’s veteran heroes like the Flash and Green Lantern, and they might even welcome him as their leader. Though Captain America is forward-looking, he’d likely find a sense of belonging and comfort with the heroes of the Justice Society.
1. Spider-Man

Spider-Man consistently faces unfair criticism. If he operated in the DC Universe, he’d likely be as admired as Superman. The DC Universe truly values heroes who dedicate themselves completely, and Spider-Man always goes above and beyond. He’d earn the love of the public and the respect of other heroes. While he might not be the leader of the Justice League, he’d be an essential and highly trusted member. It’s unfortunate he’s limited to the Marvel Universe, because he’d thrive in the DCU.
