7 Most Overpowered Avengers (And They’re Stronger Than the Vision)

Earth’s Avengers have always protected the planet from its biggest dangers, thanks to the incredible powers of its members. Over the years, the team has included many powerful and skilled heroes, and Vision is one of the most formidable. Originally created by Ultron to defeat the Avengers, Vision surprisingly joined their ranks and became a legendary figure. He possesses a unique combination of abilities, including super strength, flight, the ability to harness solar energy, and control over his own density. These powers have allowed him to confront and overcome some of the universe’s most dangerous villains.

The Avengers face incredibly strong villains, so they rely on heroes with exceptional abilities to win their battles. While the Vision is a powerful member, seven other Avengers are even more powerful and have been crucial in saving the universe on multiple occasions.

7) She-Hulk

As a huge Marvel fan, I’m always amazed by the power levels! Everyone knows the Hulk is incredibly strong thanks to his gamma radiation, but it’s awesome that his cousin, She-Hulk, got similar powers from a blood transfusion. She’s seriously a force to be reckoned with – not quite as quick to anger as Bruce, which means it takes her a bit longer to reach his peak strength, but she absolutely has the same potential for limitless power, invulnerability, and healing. And let me tell you, she’s way stronger than the Vision! She actually ripped him in half once, like it was nothing. So while she might start out a little behind the Hulk, she’s got the potential to be just as powerful, which is so cool!

6) The Hulk

When it comes to gamma-powered beings, the original Hulk is the strongest. Bruce Banner survived a gamma bomb explosion thanks to a mysterious portal, which also granted him incredible power – essentially the power of a supreme being. This transformed him into the Hulk, a terrifying and nearly unstoppable force of destruction with limitless strength, invulnerability, and the ability to heal rapidly. The Hulk is virtually unkillable; whenever he’s defeated, he can return through that same portal, ready to battle once more. Though he helped found the Avengers, the Hulk has often fought against the team more than with them. He’s consistently proven to be more powerful than the Vision, defeating him on multiple occasions.

5) Captain Universe

Captain Universe is arguably the strongest hero to ever be an Avenger. When the multiverse was being destroyed by Incursions, the powerful cosmic force known as the Enigma Force possessed a woman in a coma named Tamara. This new being joined the Avengers’ most powerful team and fought incredible enemies. Even the ancient race known as the Builders called her “the Mother,” and her abilities were virtually limitless – far beyond what even the powerful Vision could achieve. She’s essentially a god with a human form.

4) Scarlet Witch

Scarlet Witch and Vision were equals, her magical abilities matching his power. But it became clear she was even more powerful when she unknowingly created their children using fragments of Mephisto’s essence. Since then, her powers have grown dramatically. It’s been revealed she can actually alter reality, and her magical potential continues to increase with experience. When connected to an external source of energy, like the Life Force, she’s capable of reshaping the world, and she’s consistently becoming more powerful.

3) Hyperion of Earth-13034

Many Avengers don’t get the recognition they deserve, and Hyperion from Earth-13034 is a prime example. He joined the team during a crisis and quickly demonstrated power comparable to Thor, and potentially even greater. As an Eternal from another universe, he possesses the typical strengths of his race – incredible strength, invulnerability, flight, heightened senses, and the ability to control cosmic energy – but he’s significantly stronger than any other Eternal. In fact, he briefly held two entire Earths apart to prevent a collision, a feat of strength rarely seen in the Marvel Universe. While Vision is certainly powerful, he simply isn’t on Hyperion’s level.

2) Captain Marvel

Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel, has been an ally of the Avengers for years, originally joining the team as Ms. Marvel. With a unique blend of human and Kree heritage, she possesses incredible powers including super strength, the ability to withstand almost any attack, flight, and energy manipulation. She can even absorb energy, increasing her power, and is a formidable force throughout the universe. As Captain Marvel, she’s become one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe, constantly growing stronger and facing the biggest dangers in outer space. She’s Earth’s primary defense against cosmic threats, and her power far surpasses even that of heroes like the Vision.

1) Thor

While the Vision is impressive, Thor is truly a god. As the Norse God of Thunder, he’s consistently been one of the Avengers’ strongest members. He possesses immense strength and can withstand incredible damage, plus he controls the weather and is even more powerful with his hammer, Mjolnir. Thor has fought and held his own against some of the most powerful characters in the Marvel Universe, including the Hulk, Thanos, and Mangog. Even other gods fear his power, and his teammates recognize he can completely turn the tide of any battle. Though the Vision is strong enough to wield Mjolnir, he simply doesn’t have the same level of power as Thor.
