Latin music’s biggest night is here.
The 2025 Latin Grammys began on November 13th, with celebrities arriving at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas looking their best.
Karol G made a statement on the red carpet with a daring black dress. Maluma, meanwhile, looked sharp in a classic all-black suit.
Fashion wasn’t the only focus, though. This year’s Grammy Awards were highly competitive, with Bad Bunny receiving the most nominations – a total of twelve.
Bad Bunny, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, was nominated for two Grammy Awards: Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Both nominated songs, “Baile Inolvidable” and “DtMF,” were featured on his seventh studio album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, which he recorded in his home country of Puerto Rico.
In a recent interview with The New York Times, Bad Bunny explained the meaning behind his album, reflecting on life’s big questions. He wondered about his purpose and what comes next, admitting he thought, ‘You die, and that’s it.’ This led him to want to create something lasting. He realized his goal was to provide a platform for young people to share the music and rhythms of Puerto Rico, essentially ‘planting a seed’ for future generations.
CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso were also nominated for Record of the Year and Song of the Year with their popular songs “El Día del Amigo” and “#Tetas.” Plus, their album visuals for Papota had already earned them the Best Long Form Music Video award before the show even began.

Natalia Lafourcade and Karol G were also major nominees, both up for Record of the Year and other awards. Shakira was nominated for Best Pop Song for her hit, “Soltera.”
