Meghan Trainor is all about focusing on herself.
Meghan Trainor responded to recent comments about her looks after showing off her 60-pound weight loss and having a breast augmentation.
Despite recent negative comments – which she admits are becoming more frequent – the 31-year-old mother of two (4-year-old Riley and 2-year-old Barry, with husband Daryl Sabara) says she’s feeling great.
After having children, I’m finally prioritizing my health like never before, and I’ve never felt so good – both physically and mentally,” she shared with Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview. “It’s strange because that’s when I start getting criticized.”
The Grammy winner explained that prioritizing her health is worth it despite the negativity.
“I’m taking care of myself,” she emphasized. “I have to find a way to not be affected by that.”
Despite what others might think, Meghan Trainor has always been open and honest. She recently shared in March that she’s been using the medication Mounjaro, originally meant for type 2 diabetes, to help her lose weight.
As a mom, I really wanted to prioritize my health and feel my best – both for myself and my kids. That meant making some big changes! I teamed up with a nutritionist, completely revamped my lifestyle, and started working with a trainer. Honestly, after my second pregnancy, I also used some helpful tools, including a medication called Mounjaro, alongside all that support and science-backed advice, to get back on track.
“And I’m so glad I did,” she added, “because I feel great.”

Meghan Markle’s changing appearance isn’t just due to the GLP-1 medication she’s been using. She’s also openly discussed getting cosmetic procedures. She admitted to using too much Botox on her podcast, Workin’ On It, but recently shared that she’s very happy with the results of at least one other procedure.
She told TopMob News in March that she was thrilled with her breast augmentation. After having two babies and breastfeeding, she lost a significant amount of weight, leaving her breasts deflated. She decided to get surgery to restore their shape and volume, and she loves the results.
She explained how happy she was with her decision, saying, “I decided I wanted to get new ones, and that’s what I really wanted.”

He explained that he’s stressed the value of small, everyday adjustments, not just for continued improvement, but for her overall, long-term well-being, and that she’s fully committed to her health.

The artist, who is 6’1”, shared that he had to completely change his approach to food to achieve his goals. He explained on the October 2024 episode of On Purpose With Jay Shetty that he believes there’s a strong link between obesity and mental well-being. He understands it’s easy for people to say ‘just eat less and exercise more,’ but he wishes he’d been able to view food that way himself.
Jelly Roll acknowledged that losing weight was still a major challenge, but he was pleased to see that his new, healthier habits were making a difference.
He explained that he’s dedicated to improving himself, focusing on healthy habits like staying hydrated, cold water immersion, and eating a balanced diet. He feels he’s making good progress.

Al Roker wasn’t kidding around with the title of his cookbook Recipes to Live By.
After losing 100 pounds through dedication and effort, the longtime TODAY weatherman truly practices what he preaches. He makes sure to get at least 10,000 steps each day, eats a healthy diet, and exercises regularly.
He shared with People magazine in June 2025 that his guiding principle is ‘something is better than nothing.’ While some aim for intense fitness like marathons or weightlifting, he believes most people simply want to be fit enough to enjoy a better quality of life.
Al Roker had gastric bypass surgery in 2002 as a starting point for getting in shape, but he admits there’s no easy fix for weight loss.
Surgery is “not the end,” he advised. “You’re still going to have to put in the work.”

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, previously famous for his role in the “tush push” play, has recently been gaining attention for his impressive physique.
The former NFL player was always in good shape throughout his 13 years in the league, but he’s lost at least 25 pounds since retiring. He recently shared at a golf tournament in Philadelphia that he now weighs about 270 pounds, down from his 295-pound playing weight.
Kelce says he’s aiming to stay in shape, but doesn’t need a super-toned physique after retirement. He told GQ in June 2024 that he wants to weigh between 250 and 260 pounds – enough to maintain his size and feel good about how he looks, without striving for a six-pack.
For the father of four daughters, whose wife is Kylie Kelce, being able to keep up with his children was his biggest priority.
Now at 277 pounds, he said he’s already feeling relief in his back and knees, and hopes losing another 20 pounds will make it even easier to play with his kids.

It turns out Christopher Schwarzenegger is a chip off the ol’ muscly block.
The youngest child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver quietly lost 30 pounds, but he’s now returning to a more active life.
He explained at the first Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit in May 2025 that achieving his health goals wasn’t quick, and involved a lot of experimentation. He said simply cutting out bread had a significant impact, but even now, when he compares old and new photos, he doesn’t feel like he’s fully reached his ideal self.
Meanwhile, Christopher did not let a certain seven-time Mr. Olympia in on his plan.
Dad Arnold explained to The Times in June 2025 that he would never directly tell his son he was overweight. Instead, they gradually incorporated healthy foods into his diet and encouraged gym visits. Eventually, his son independently decided he wanted to get in shape, and he succeeded. Arnold was thrilled with his son’s self-discipline and motivation, believing the change had to come from within – and it did.

To Metz, aging gracefully means “staying strong and flexible,” so she tries to be active every day.

John Goodman was known for his large build when he played Dan Conner on the show Roseanne in the 1990s; he once joked to David Letterman that he weighed close to 400 pounds. However, by the time The Conners began in 2018, the character—and Goodman himself—had made some healthier choices.
In 2007, Goodman stopped drinking, which was the beginning of his journey to a healthier lifestyle. He especially enjoyed boxing and taking his dogs for walks.
In 2010, he told People magazine that he was working hard to get in shape, exercising six days a week and avoiding sugar, but he was staying calm and not overdoing it. He’d already lost around 100 pounds.
Overall, the 6-foot-2 actor has lost about 200 pounds since he was at his peak weight.
In a 2016 interview with ABC News, Goodman explained he simply grew exhausted of seeing himself. He described feeling a strong aversion to even looking in the mirror, saying, “You’re shaving and you don’t want to look at yourself.” He added that this feeling could become a serious problem.

Oprah Winfrey has been sharing the highs and lows of her weight loss journey for decades.
From famously squeezing into skinny jeans and wheeling out 67 pounds of fat on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1988, to investing in WeightWatchers in 2015, Oprah has consistently used her influence to promote discussions about weight and wellness.
Addressing the current popular topic, Oprah shared in March 2024 during her special, Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution, that she was using medication, in addition to eating smaller meals and exercising, to manage her weight.
“It’s not just one thing,” she said of her secret to staying fit, “it’s multiple things.”
Winfrey shared that her aim with the special was to reduce the negativity and blame often associated with weight, both for others and ourselves. She wanted to create a space where people weren’t judged for their weight or choices regarding weight loss, and to encourage self-acceptance.

Lizzo simply wanted to feel better from head to toe.
In a May 2023 TikTok video, the singer explained that working out became important for her mental well-being – to improve her mood and self-image. She realized exercise helped change how she felt about herself, rather than focusing on changing her body, so she no longer felt shame or disgust when she looked in the mirror.
In a TikTok post from January 2025, she shared that she was working on losing weight to become the healthiest and happiest version of herself.
Lizzo explained that even after losing weight, she won’t be considered ‘thin’ by traditional standards. She acknowledges she’ll likely still be classified as morbidly obese according to BMI, and people online will probably still comment on her size. However, she emphasized that her priority is her own happiness.
Just a moment later, the video cut to Lizzo happily announcing that her body fat percentage had decreased by 16%, and her BMI had dropped by 10.5 points.
She always knows just what to say to inspire me. Hearing her say that I can truly achieve anything I put my mind to really stuck with me. It’s like a fresh start – I’m already thinking about what I want to accomplish next and setting some new goals!
