I’ve been eagerly awaiting news about when I could watch “The Running Man” at home, and it’s finally here! It’s so cool that they’re revisiting Stephen King’s story – the original with Arnold Schwarzenegger was a classic, and this new take looks amazing. I was thrilled to find out it first hit theaters in the UK on November 12th, 2025, and then in the US just two days later on November 14th. I’m already planning my watch party!

What is The Running Man’s streaming release date estimate?

We expect The Running Man to start streaming around mid-January 2026. This estimate is based on how Paramount typically releases its movies – first in theaters, then on streaming services.

Currently, it’s unclear when “The Running Man” will be available to stream. But, looking at how Paramount released “The Naked Gun,” we can make a reasonable guess about its potential release date.

The Naked Gun premiered in theaters on August 1, 2025, and became available on Paramount+ around two months later, on September 30, 2025.

Therefore, if The Running Man follows the same release schedule as other films, it will probably come out in mid-January 2026.

As he gains popularity with the audience, the people running the game see him as a problem and send skilled Hunters to kill him, forcing him to fight for his life.
