CoD BO7 Season 1: Launch date, maps, weapons, more

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 plans to significantly expand on the already extensive post-launch support offered in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Season 1 will deliver a wealth of new content for all game modes โ€“ including the Campaign, multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

Okay, so the new season is dropping super early, which is awesome! And get this โ€“ they’re bringing back some classic maps from older Black Ops games for multiplayer. Seriously stoked to play on those again!

The update will include three new Zombies maps โ€“ both large-scale and Survival modes โ€“ along with new gadgets and perks.

Treyarch recently released a video detailing everything you need to know to get ready for the launch of Season 1 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.

CoD Bo7 Season 1 launch date

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 is scheduled to launch on December 4th, 2025. We don’t have the exact release time confirmed, but it will probably be similar to when updates for past Call of Duty games have become available.

  • US West Coast (PT) โ€“ 9am
  • US Mountain (MT) โ€“ 10am
  • US Central (CT) โ€“ 11am
  • US East Coast (ET) โ€“ 12am
  • UK (GMT) – 5pm
  • Central Europe (CET) โ€“ 6pm
  • Singapore (SGT) โ€“ 12am, 5 December
  • Japan (JST) โ€“ 1am, 5 December
  • Australia East Coast (AEDT) โ€“ 3am, 5 December
  • New Zealand (NZDT) โ€“ 5am, 5 December

The season will probably be divided into two parts, and a major update, called Season 1 Reloaded, is expected to arrive between early and mid-January 2026.

CoD Black Ops 7 Season 1 new maps

The first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 will add seven new 6v6 maps, such as Fate, Odysseus, and Utopia. Plus, players can look forward to remastered versions of Standoff and Meltdown, which originally appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

The first map, Fate, is located in a Nicaragua compound and draws inspiration from the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 mission of the same name, featuring similar close-quarters hallways aboard the USS Barack Obama. The final map, Utopia, is set within an abandoned Guild facility in Australia.

There are still two maps left to show, and weโ€™ll probably learn about them in a large announcement about the new season right before it comes out.

On top of that, Treyarch will be dropping Nuketown 2025 on 20th November 2025.

CoD Bo7 Season 1 new weapons

The first season will introduce seven new weapons, such as the Maddox assault rifle, originally featured in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, along with the Crossbow and Ballistic Knife. Players can also look forward to the return of the popular Sticks and Stones game mode.

In Sticks and Stones, you need to get a certain number of kills using only sticks and stones in a chaotic, everyone-for-themselves match.

While not a weapon, Season 1 will also add a new scorestreak called the Deadeye Drone.

CoD Bo7 Season 1 Zombies

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 1 will add three Zombies maps. Players can look forward to a large, new map that continues the game’s main Easter egg story, along with the returning favorites Exit 115 and Cosmodrome from the Ashes of the Damned map pack.

While not confirmed, rumours suggest that this map will take place on a space station.

The first season will bring all the Field Upgrades and Ammo Mods from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 into the game, like Light Mend, Mister Peeks, and Frost Blast. Plus, special, limited-time Zombies modes will be available.

This is easily the most content Zombies has seen in a Season and will certainly make fans happy.

CoD Bo7 Season 1 Warzone integration

And it gets even better! With Season 1 of Black Ops 7, they’re finally tying Warzone into the full progression system. That means everything new we unlock โ€“ weapons, attachments, everything โ€“ will be usable in Warzone. Plus, they’re adding special camo challenges and new ways to earn Calling Cards, so there’s always something to grind for!

Little is known about this right now, but more information will arrive prior to launch.
