Mythwright and Pixel Pea Games are creating Cozy Marbles, a game where you build marble runs and race them on PC. It’s coming to Steam in 2026, and you can try a playtest version right now!
According to Mythwright’s Stuart Morton, Cozy Marbles is a game designed to spark creativity. Players can build anything from simple marble races to elaborate, shareable courses in a charming marble world. The game’s Playtest is available now, and Mythwright is excited to reveal more details as the launch date approaches.

Cozy Marbles is a relaxing game where you create and play with marble runs, like building a dream course on a warm, sunny day. You’ll have tons of different pieces to choose from, and can enjoy the calming sounds of lo-fi music and ASMR while you play, bringing back fond memories.

- Enjoy Your Own Massive Toybox – Tinker with freeform construction tools and a rich library of parts. Design awesome loops, twists and drops, then roll your marbles off on their adventure. Take “playing with marbles” to a whole new level by guiding them across complex courses, bouncing them over obstacles with boosters and ramps, and even shooting them from cannons.
- Customize Your Marble Marvel – Build your marble run from wood, metal or plastic, choose its colors and give it a name. Customize your cosy marbles with a range of colors, facial expressions, stylish hats and silly little arms that flail while rolling.
- Mess Around and Find Out – Cozy Marbles is a little game with a big brain. Plan and experiment with all sorts of marble constructs, from marble rollercoasters to wacky apparatus. Watch your marbles flow through carefully laid routes… or fly way off track!
- Set Up Marble Races – Assemble a marble course, place its finish line, and drop your marbles to watch them race to the end. May the best marble win.
- Share the Joy – The best next step after perfecting your marble masterpiece (or grotesque marble trap) is to share it with the world. Export and import courses to show off your build and try everyone else’s.
