Irina Shayk wants her daughter to find the silver lining amid fame.
Model Irina Shayk, who has appeared in Sports Illustrated, shared how she and her ex-partner, Bradley Cooper, make sure their daughter, Lea, is comfortable with their fame. She said 8-year-old Lea understands that her parents have jobs that involve being in the public eye.
Irina recently told People magazine that she has extremely limited access to digital technology. She explained that she and Bradley Cooper prioritize connecting with people and spreading kindness instead, focusing on relationships and community.
She explained that the most valuable gift you can give a child is growing up in a loving family.
Irina also knows her job gives her a different way of looking at things, which can help balance out Lea’s opinions.
She explained that with so many different ideas of what’s considered beautiful, she naturally wants to shield her daughter from them.
Irina and Bradley involve their daughter in their work as a way to help her adjust to life in Hollywood. Bradley, who directed and starred in Maestro, explained that their daughter Lea is included in the filmmaking process.
I was so glad to hear Bradley explain things to TopMob News last month. He said there’s really nothing strange going on, it’s just a normal part of their work, and honestly, it’s really heartwarming because you can tell she genuinely cares a lot about it.
Indeed, Lea is not afraid to share her thoughts with her dad.

Bradley, who started dating Gigi Hadid in 2023, shared that his daughter is very outspoken and has strong opinions about everything. He loves this about her and values her thoughts, even involving her in decisions like reviewing casting choices for his projects.
Irina agrees with Bradley that their daughter, Lea, should be included in all aspects of their lives, both personal and work-related, even when they’re busy. She’s happy to co-parent this way and make sure Lea is always involved.
In a 2023 interview with Elle, she shared their family motto: “We always find a way.” She also praised Bradley, saying, “He’s the best father Lea and I could ask for. We make things work, and that’s why it does.”

In an October 2024 Instagram post, model Irina Shayk revealed some of the things she loves, including beach days, sunflowers, pumpkins, and her 7-year-old daughter, Lea de Seine, who she shares with ex-partner Bradley Cooper.

A well-known model warned her followers to ‘Watch out for KITTY CATSSS’ in a June 2024 social media post, where she shared several adorable throwback photos of her daughter surrounded by cats.

Irina also posted a fun photo of Lea showing her playful side. The Victoria’s Secret model says her daughter is the perfect companion.
Irina Shayk shared in 2023 with Elle magazine that she and Bradley Cooper often bring their daughter, Lea, along with them. She described Lea as a very easygoing child. One memorable outing included a visit with designer Michael Kors, where Lea received a gift bag and, in return, drew Kors a picture of a kitten.

Following a brief appearance in her father Bradley Cooper’s 2023 film Maestro – which he wrote, directed, starred in, and produced – Lea made her first public appearance on the red carpet at the movie’s Los Angeles premiere that December.

“She was great,” Bradley gushed of his daughter’s performance. “She was really awesome.”

Irina didn’t make it to the Los Angeles premiere, but she shared a peek at a private screening with her Instagram followers. Bradley, unsurprisingly, named his production company after his daughter – his greatest joy. “He’s the best father Lea and I could ask for,” Irina told Elle. “We make things work, and that’s why it always does.”

I’ve always admired Bradley, and I think seeing him with his daughter really shows who he is. He’s said himself that bringing her with him to the Kennedy Center in D.C. in 2019, when Dave Chappelle was getting the Mark Twain Prize, actually helped him become a better person. It was a really special moment, and it’s clear how much his daughter means to him.
He shared on the February 2024 episode of Armchair Expert with Dax Shepherd that he wants to give his daughter the best possible start in life. He’s very aware of how their relationship will shape her development and is focused on minimizing any negative impact he might have, emphasizing his commitment to personal growth so he can be a better father.
