Halo Infinite’s Final Content Update is Now Live As New Trailer Outlines Every “Infinite” Moment

With the release of its final update, Operation: Infinite, Halo Infinite is officially moving out of active development and into a maintenance phase. This marks the end of major content additions for the game, and a new trailer highlights all the multiplayer and co-op modes that have been added over the past few years – all of which are available to play now.

Operation Pass is here with five new armor sets, over 30 ways to customize your Spartan, and other exciting additions. But the biggest news is The Exchange! It now includes cosmetics from previous events and Fractures, plus 200 brand-new items you’ve never seen before to personalize your look.

I’m so excited for the new season in Ranked! We’re getting a brand new map called Vacancy, which should really shake things up. If you’re more into Quick Play, the festive Yuletide map is now live in Husky Raid and Super Husky Raid – perfect for the holidays! And the best part? They’ve doubled the XP and Spartan Points you earn from Career Rank, so we can level up even faster. It’s a great time to jump in!

Although Halo Infinite won’t receive further content updates, 343 Industries is now looking ahead to the future of the Halo franchise, beginning with a remake of Halo: Combat Evolved. Set to launch in 2026 on Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PlayStation 5, the remake is built using Unreal Engine 5, while still utilizing the original game’s code. This version won’t include competitive multiplayer, but it’s expected to return in a future Halo game when it’s released.
