After a nearly two-year wait since its original broadcast on U&Alibi, the fourth season of Miss Scarlet and The Duke will now be shown on U&Drama, a free-to-air channel on UKTV.
The fourth season, featuring Stuart Martin alongside Kate Phillips, will premiere on U&Drama on Wednesday, December 10th at 8pm. This is great news for fans and a perfect early Christmas treat!
Miss Scarlet and the Duke, a show that began in 2020, centers around Eliza Scarlet, a private investigator in Victorian England. She often works with her childhood friend, William Wellington, a detective inspector at Scotland Yard known as ‘the Duke’.
In the season 4 premiere, Eliza and the Duke join forces to solve a burglary at an exclusive brothel frequented by prominent British officials.
The show U&Alibi came back for a fifth season earlier this year, but it was rebranded as simply Miss Scarlet.

The role of the Duke was recast because Stuart Martin departed the show. Tom Durant-Pritchard joined the cast as the new lead, playing Detective Inspector Alexander Blake.
The show has been renewed for a sixth season! New episodes will premiere next month on PBS Masterpiece in the US, and will be available on U&Alibi in the UK in 2026.
In Season 6, Eliza and Blake’s relationship, which has had its difficulties, will start to change, and they’ll discover that collaborating isn’t always easy.
Ivy and Potts are getting used to being married, a new detective starts working at Scotland Yard, and Nash continues to stir up trouble, even while he’s far away.
In addition to the main stars, season 6 will feature Cathy Belton as Ivy, Paul Bazely as Clarence, Simon Ludders as Mr. Potts, Tim Chipping as Detective Phelps, Felix Scott as Nash, and Ansu Kabia as Moses.
