Kwalee and devotid have announced that their open-world arcade adventure, The Coin Game, will officially release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (via Steam) in early 2026, moving it out of its Early Access phase.
The Coin Game first launched in Early Access for PC on February 22, 2019.

Welcome to The Coin Game, a lively arcade adventure set on a fun-filled island! Explore arcades bursting with realistic games – inspired by your favorites – and trade in your tickets for awesome prizes. Visit Larry’s Arcade to enjoy animatronic bands, or head to UFO Arcade for space-themed games, Laser Tag, and Go-Karting. You can even hang out in a retro ’90s mall complete with an arcade, food court, shops, and a cinema where you can screen your own movies! Be careful though – mischievous minions are everywhere, and they love to challenge players in Laser Tag. For even more excitement, cool off at Lenny’s WaterPark, test your skills at pirate-themed mini-golf and RC boat racing, or visit the Traveling Carnival with over 20 classic games, rides, and prizes!
Want a tougher challenge? Try Survivor Mode – it starts you with very little money. You’ll need to watch your health and energy levels, which are displayed on your watch, so be sure to find food all over the island. Jerry sells healthy options, but they’re pricey. If you’re on a tight budget, junk food is always a cheaper choice!
Need cash? You can earn money by collecting items from dumpsters, delivering newspapers by bike, or selling unwanted prizes at the pawn shop. If all else fails, you might have to ask Uncle Phil for an advance on your allowance!
Want to just kick back and have fun? Turn on Birthday Mode and enjoy unlimited money thanks to Uncle Phil! Play any way you want and have a blast at the arcades. Load up on soda and cheesy snacks, and don’t worry about getting sticky fingers on over 50 different games and machines!
Getting around the island is easy! You can use the bus, rent a golf cart or bike, or even hop in Mom’s van. Walking is a good option too, especially if you want to work off some of those mall treats. Just be cautious – there’s a lot of traffic from cars and other tourists, so stay safe and be mindful of the roads.
You can play The Coin Game using a mouse, keyboard, or any gamepad or controller. The game lets you easily customize the controls to work with almost any device, so you can play however you prefer.
