Can you believe it? Infinity Nikki is turning one year old! That means the huge version 2.00 update is coming very soon.
This free update, releasing on November 25th or 26th depending on where you are, will significantly expand the game’s dress-up features and open world.
I’m so excited about all the new stuff they’re adding! Our hero is getting some seriously cool gear – like a bow and arrow and even a grappling hook! But the best part? She can now summon spirits and, get this, grow really big! It’s going to change how we play, for sure.
Get ready to explore Itzaland, a brand new world filled with unique characters, creatures, and exciting things to do! You’ll enjoy fast-paced platforming challenges similar to parkour, and you can even travel around in boats made from snail shells.
You can also discover a variety of new outfits to collect, and many can be earned simply by playing the game.
As a long-time player, I’ve always loved that Infinity Nikki is all about letting me create and express my own style. That’s what Douhu from Infold Games has always said, and it really shows in the game!
In Version 2.0, we’re giving players even more control and creative freedom. This update lets you not only explore Itzaland, but actually change it. It’s based on everything we’ve learned from the past year and reflects our vision for the future, built together with our community.
Infinity Nikki had a strong start, but player interest dipped about six months after release due to some changes in the story that many felt weren’t needed. The game experienced both positive reception and negative reactions as a result.
The developer has been working hard to improve the game, and version 2.0 is a major milestone in that effort. It now runs much more smoothly, achieving a solid 60 frames per second on PlayStation 5.
