Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 already features several powerful weapons, but the Warden 308 is quickly becoming a surprising frontrunner for the title of best weapon in the game.
Okay, so this marksman rifle is a revolver, and let me tell you, it destroys if you hit someone in the head or upper body. One shot, they’re down! I slapped a low-zoom scope on it, and now it’s an absolute beast. Seriously, I’m racking up killstreaks with almost no effort – chain kills are super easy with this thing. It’s become my go-to for quick, clean eliminations.
We’ve tested the Warden 308 extensively and created the ultimate loadout and class setup for it in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
CoD BO7 Warden 308 best loadout
The best loadout for the Warden 308 in CoD BO7 is:
- Optic: Millimeter Scanner or Greaves Ultra Zoom
- Muzzle: Outlaw Silencer
- Barrel: 15.4 LTI Phalanx Barrel
- Stock: FTAC Hybrid Stock
- Fire Mods: MFS Snap Trigger
Okay, first thing I did was ditch the standard iron sights. If you like to move fast and get right into the action, I highly recommend the Millimeter Scanner. Seriously, it’s a fantastic optic that a lot of people seem to overlook!
This feature, returning from a previous game, briefly lets you see enemy positions through walls – a useful advantage. Even without that, the zoom level, visual clarity, and aiming reticle are all excellent, making it easy to track targets in any combat situation, whether up close or far away.

If you prefer a classic sniper rifle approach, the Greaves Ultra Zoom is also a solid choice.
The Outlaw Silencer is a solid second attachment, helping you stay hidden. Pairing it with the 16.2″ Artmeis-D1 Barrel increases your damage range and bullet speed, which is useful because the Warden 308’s MFS Snap Trigger attachment has a drawback. This combination also improves your fire rate, making you a more dangerous opponent.
The FTAC Hybrid Stock improves how easily you move and aim, helping you stay effective even when you’re not holding a fixed position.
CoD BO7 Warden 308 best class setup
Elsewhere in the class setup, you want to run:
- Secondary: Velox 5.7
- Lethal: Semtex
- Tactical: Stim Shot
- Field Upgrade: Mute Field
- Perk 1: Ninja
- Perk 2: Fast Hands
- Perk 3: Flak Jacket
- Wildcard: Perk Greed – Ghost
The Velox 5.7 is a solid backup weapon, especially in close-quarters combat, due to its fast firing rate. Combining it with the Fast Hands perk lets you reload the Warden a little quicker – its reload speed can be slow – and switch to the Velox rapidly.
For your first perk slot, choose Ninja and pair it with Ghost, using the Greed wildcard. This combination will keep you off enemy radar and help you stay concealed.
This ability pairs with the Mute Field Upgrade, temporarily silencing your footsteps.
For your perks, consider the Flak Jacket in the third slot, as explosions happen frequently in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and can be very disruptive. As for equipment, use a Stim tactical and a Semtex lethal grenade.
