Diddy Reportedly Has A Side Hustle While In Prison… And It’s Making Him Millions

Following his trial earlier this year, Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, is currently serving a four-year prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. While he’s unable to create new music – a major source of his income for years – reports indicate he’s been finding ways to earn millions through other business dealings while incarcerated.

I heard Diddy’s finding a smart way to keep things moving – he’s renting out his Gulfstream jet! Apparently, it’s available through a luxury rental company called Silver Air. If you’re super wealthy, you can actually charter it through sites like Jettly. It’s a pretty amazing plane – seats 14 people and can fly over 6,750 miles – but be prepared to spend some serious cash, around $32,597, if you want to take it for a spin.

Despite its high cost, Jettly’s G550 aircraft is in high demand, being rented out roughly every other day. According to The U.S. Sun, the jet had already flown 149,540 miles from rentals and completed 126 trips, earning $4.1 million in revenue. Interestingly, renters aren’t told that the plane is owned by the rapper known as “Victory.”

Okay, so while we’re talking about how much money Diddy is making from all this, it’s not quite as simple as just looking at the total. The brokers involved definitely take a percentage for their work, and then there’s taxes to consider. Even with those things taken out, it still seems like he’s pulling in millions of dollars even while he’s in jail, which is pretty incredible.

More on Diddy

A former reality TV star is advising Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs on how to protect himself in prison, warning him that he’ll be surrounded by dangerous individuals.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was arrested in September 2024 as part of a federal investigation into sex trafficking. He was held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn during and before his trial, which took place from May to July 2025. The trial resulted in a split decision: Diddy was found guilty on two charges related to transporting individuals for prostitution, but cleared of more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Following the verdict, he attempted to secure a $50 million bail, even offering to sell his private plane as part of the arrangement, but was unsuccessful.

Combs was sentenced in October and apologized in court. Afterward, he was sent to Fort Dix prison, where he’s entered a drug treatment program. He’s adjusted to prison life and currently works in laundry. Taking into account the time he already spent in jail, Combs is scheduled to be released on June 4, 2028.

For now, it looks like Diddy will continue to have access to his private plane. It’s currently unknown if he’s found ways to earn money while incarcerated, and he still appears to own a significant amount of property and other assets accumulated over his career.
