Netflix has added a new season of Missing: Dead or Alive?, which continues to follow the work of the Missing Persons Unit at the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in South Carolina.
This four-episode series documents the urgent search for missing persons, bringing closure to their families by providing answers they’ve been waiting for.
The show explores missing persons investigations, revealing the detailed work officers do on each case. It also shares how these emotionally challenging cases – involving missing and kidnapped individuals – have affected the officers personally.
The first episode centers on the officers’ investigation into the disappearance of Morgan Duncan, a case that deeply impacts his family.

Investigators became more worried because Duncan needed his medication and it was very unusual for him to go missing.
When Morgan Duncan went missing, he was living with schizophrenia and had already been gone for several months.
