Fans of Supernatural will still be able to stream the show after it leaves Netflix in December 2025. Warner Bros. Television has arranged for the series—which ran for 15 seasons and finished in 2020—to move to new streaming platforms, ensuring uninterrupted access for viewers. The change is happening shortly after it departs Netflix, and the full series will remain available.
Supernatural to stream on Peacock and Prime Video in December
Okay, fellow Supernatural fans, get ready – this is a tough one! All fifteen seasons of the show are leaving Netflix US on December 18th, 2025, so you have until December 17th to binge-watch everything. For those who might not remember, Supernatural originally aired on The WB and then The CW for a whopping twelve years, running from 2005 to 2020 and giving us 327 incredible episodes. It’s the story of brothers Sam and Dean Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, as they hunt things that go bump in the night all over America. I was so happy when it landed on Netflix back in 2014, and it’s been a comfort watch ever since, especially with the final season added in 2020. But sadly, our streaming access is ending soon!
Okay, so I have some sad news for fans of Supernatural. Netflix has officially announced it’ll be leaving the platform in late 2025, along with a few other shows like Arrow and The 100. It’s a Warner Bros. Television production, and thankfully it has both English and Latin American Spanish audio and subtitles, but after sending out removal notices back in November 2024 and January 2025, it looks like Netflix wasn’t able to renew the license. That means, unfortunately, it won’t be streaming there much longer.
Supernatural is moving to new streaming platforms! Starting December 1st, all 15 seasons will be available on Prime Video before leaving Netflix. Then, on December 22nd, the show will also be added to Peacock, according to What’s On Netflix. It’s currently unknown if Peacock will offer Supernatural with its premium subscription or as part of its ad-supported plan.
While other Warner Bros. Television shows are currently looking for new streaming homes, fans won’t experience any interruption in watching Supernatural. The series will continue to be available on both Prime Video and Peacock, though how long it will stay on each platform hasn’t been announced.
