Over five years ago, Ubisoft revealed they were rebuilding the popular PlayStation 2 game, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.
The game was originally scheduled to launch in January 2021, but it faced several delays and was ultimately finished by a new development team.
Ubisoft previously announced the game would launch before April 2026, and now, according to trusted gaming news source Insider Gaming, we have a more specific timeframe.
According to a reliable source, the game is expected to be released around mid-January – just over a month from now.
Some people are guessing we might get a trailer at The Game Awards on December 12th. This would fit with the publisher’s plans if they want to start taking pre-orders and don’t intend to release the game unexpectedly.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is often considered one of the best platforming games ever made. Its innovative ability to control time sets it apart from other games in the genre.
Are you as thrilled as we are that this remake is almost here? Let us know your thoughts in the comments!
