Xbox Cloud Gaming is a Microsoft service that lets you play games online without needing to download them. You can stream a wide range of games from the Game Pass library, or even games you’ve already purchased digitally. It works on many devices, including phones, computers, tablets, and streaming devices, and is included with all Game Pass subscriptions – from Essential to Ultimate.

Now available in 29 countries including India, the service is expanding to more devices in Brazil, which is an important gaming market.

With Xbox Cloud Gaming, you can play a wide variety of games without downloading or installing anything. It allows you to play on different devices, offering flexibility in how and where you game, as long as you have a good internet connection.

What does Xbox Cloud Gaming offer?

LG Smart TVs now let you play games directly on your TV using Xbox Cloud Gaming, and they work with Bluetooth controllers like those for Xbox and PlayStation DualSense.

I’ve noticed that if you want to use the Xbox app on your LG Smart TV, you’ll need webOS 24 or a more recent version. This generally means you have a 2022 OLED TV or a 2023 model that’s been updated with the latest firmware.

Brazilian gamers can now play Xbox games directly on their Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K or other Fire TV devices. To get started, all you need is a Bluetooth controller – no extra hardware is required. LG TVs also work the same way! You can find a complete list of compatible devices here.

A future without consoles?

This update lets players in Brazil easily start gaming without needing to buy extra equipment, and it highlights Xbox’s commitment to making cloud gaming accessible on the devices people already use every day.

The ability to play games on TVs or streaming devices makes things easy, and it shows Xbox is prioritizing convenience over solely focusing on traditional gaming consoles.
