SANABI free DLC ‘A Haunted Day’ for Switch launches this winter

NEOWIZ and Wonder Potion have announced that the free downloadable content expansion “A Haunted Day” for SANABI, originally released on PC via Steam, will be available on Switch this winter.

Here is an overview of the content, via NEOWIZ:

About

“A Haunted Day” is a prequel story that takes place before the main game. It follows Major Song as she investigates a clue that leads her to a dangerous scrapyard while working at Uigeumbu No. 12. The combat in this downloadable content is different from the main game’s grappling system, focusing instead on combining jumps with the powerful blasts of Song’s shotgun to create exciting aerial attacks.

This is the first downloadable content for SANABI, offering more exciting action and continuing the game’s story.

The downloadable content includes eight new stages and two boss fights.

Story

Thirteen years ago, Major Song was sent to a questionable scrapyard just outside Hanyang, following an order she felt was unfair from her commanding officer.

What awaited her there was a hail of bullets, explosions… and a general with a steel tiger?

The New Playable Character: Major Song

This game’s main character is Major Song, and the story takes place during her time with Uigeumbu No.12, before she encountered the General.

Stylish and Agile “Aerial Action” Platformer

Major Song is a highly skilled aerial fighter, able to move quickly and accurately in the air. Her special talents, like being able to bounce back from a mid-air fall and her proficiency with a shotgun, make her a dangerous enemy, capable of taking on even high-ranking officers like a General.

Whether it’s Burst Mode, offering defense and amplifying your abilities, or a more powerful shotgun for devastating attacks…

Step into the shoes of Major Song, a government-trained weapon and the youngest person ever to ace the rigorous martial arts exam!

Spin-Off Scenario: A Haunted Day

Operation 3 was issued at an assault robot scrapyard, outside of Hanyang.

Major Song discovered a hint about the betrayal and confidently entered the sprawling scrapyard to investigate, but she immediately felt like something wasn’t right.

There are maniacally aggressive robots and a disturbingly ominous signaling device.

An overbearing boss issuing nonsensical commands, a junkyard filled with bizarre happenings, and… a general accompanied by a robotic tiger? These are the strange elements at play.

Today, it feels like haunted or something

What’s happening in this scrapyard?
