As a huge fan of both classic and modern takes on the werewolf myth, I really enjoyed Teen Wolf. It’s a fresh look at the 1985 movie starring Michael J. Fox – this time created by Jeff Davis and with a new story. The show drops you into the world of Scott McCall, a typical high school student in the fictional town of Beacon Hills, California. Everything changes for him one night when he’s bitten by a powerful alpha werewolf, and suddenly he’s the Teen Wolf!
The series Teen Wolf follows Scott as he navigates the challenges of being a teenager, dealing with his identity as a werewolf, and the effects those changes have on his everyday life. He’s supported through it all by his best friend, Stiles Stilinski (played by Dylan O’Brien). The show was a big hit when it originally aired, and fans will be excited to hear it’s coming to Netflix for streaming soon.
Teen Wolf Is Coming Back To Netflix On December 1st After 10 Years
While many popular TV shows aren’t available for streaming, all seasons of Teen Wolf have been on Hulu, and four seasons are also on Prime Video. But in December, Teen Wolf will be moving to a streaming service it’s used before.
Good news for Teen Wolf fans! After being unavailable for ten years, all six seasons of the show are coming to Netflix on December 1st. It originally streamed on Netflix in the early 2010s but was removed in 2015, according to What’s On Netflix.
It’s unclear why Teen Wolf disappeared from Netflix years ago and why it took so long to return. Like many shows and movies on streaming services, Netflix likely lost the rights to stream it at some point.
Is The Teen Wolf Movie Also Coming To Netflix? Where To Watch
The popular show Teen Wolf aired from 2011 to 2017, and in 2023, many of the original actors came back for Teen Wolf: The Movie. The movie picks up the story where the series left off, with Scott now running an animal shelter in Los Angeles. However, when a dangerous enemy from the past reappears, he must return to his hometown, Beacon Hills, to defend it.
The movie Teen Wolf: The Movie came out on Paramount+ on January 26, 2023. As of now, it’s unclear if it will be available on Netflix, but you can still watch it on Paramount+. If you want to watch the original Teen Wolf series, or check out the movie for the first time, it will be streaming on Netflix starting December 1st.
