The anime Fire Force is gearing up for the last episodes of its series! A new trailer has just been released, confirming the release date for the second half of Season 3. The season began earlier this year with Shinra Kusakabe and his team facing dangerous enemies and a potential apocalypse. It ended on a major cliffhanger, leaving fans eager to see how the story will conclude, but thankfully, the wait won’t be much longer.
The anime Fire Force is returning for its final season as part of the Winter 2026 anime lineup. Season 3 will conclude with a second part, premiering in Japan on January 9th. A new trailer has been released, offering a preview of the exciting finale.
What to Know for Fire Force Season 3 Part 2
The final part of Fire Force Season 3 will premiere in Japan on January 9th as part of the Winter 2026 anime lineup. Fans outside of Japan can exclusively stream the new episodes on Crunchyroll, where you can also watch the previous seasons. Hochu Otsuka will join the cast as Hibachi Shinmon for these concluding episodes. The opening theme, “Ignis,” will be sung by Takanori Nishikawa, and the ending theme, “Speak of the Devil,” will be performed by Survive Said the Profit.
The same voice actors from past seasons will be back for the final episodes. Tatsumi Minamikawa, who directed season two, will return to direct the final season at David Production, with Sei Tsuguta writing the scripts and Mika Yamamoto designing the characters. Yoshihiro Yoshioka, Mariko Kubo, and Yumenosuke Tokuda will be the lead animation directors. Essentially, the talented team who created the anime will be seeing it through to the very end.
How Will Fire Force End?
The original Fire Force manga by Atsushi Ohkubo finished a few years ago and was a hit with fans. The trailer for the new season shows things are about to get really intense, but it’s just a glimpse of what’s to come. Keen-eyed viewers might spot clues about the series’ wild ending in the trailer – especially in the imagery and with the familiar artists creating the new theme songs, including a moon that resembles one from another well-known series.
It’s still uncertain if the anime will be able to deliver a satisfying ending comparable to the one in the original manga. As the anime, Fire Force, nears its conclusion this January with just a few episodes remaining, now is the time to prepare for how the story might unfold.
