EastEnders’ Anthony Trueman makes shocking realisation about thieving Howie Danes in BBC iPlayer release

Anthony Trueman is getting closer to discovering Howie Danes has been stealing in EastEnders.

Earlier this year, Howie started a second job delivering parcels because he was facing financial difficulties, partly due to pressure from his partner, Kim Fox. He soon discovered that packages were frequently lost, and he saw an opportunity to profit from this.

He stooped so low as to blackmail Oscar Branning into giving up the betting money Patrick Trueman had stolen, then kept the winnings for himself.

I have to admit, I was really thrilled for Kim when she got that amazing new car. It was great to see Howie finally spending some money – honestly, it reminded me so much of how her ex, Vincent (Richard Blackwood), used to roll!

He recently caused a problem for himself when he mistakenly left a livestream running on her social media, and thousands of her followers overheard her making negative remarks about them.

As a result she’s lost two sponsorship opportunities, and is facing a new monetary setback.

Tonight on the show, Howie came up with a clever idea. He stopped a delivery meant for Penny Branning (played by Kitty Castledine) – it was a Christmas present from her mother.

When Patrick peeked inside the package, he saw a ring and immediately thought someone was going to propose to Kim.

Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) encouraged him to follow through, explaining it would demonstrate his dedication to her while they were going through a difficult period.

At the doctor’s office, Anthony was upset because his prescription hadn’t been delivered. Penny, while seeing a patient, realized a gift from her mother was also missing.

Howie arrived and asked if Anthony could be there when he proposed later that evening.

Honestly, after that experience, the doctor was completely rattled. He just couldn’t shake the feeling that something really weird was going on, and it clearly occupied his every thought.

Kim was thrilled with the surprise, and on the way home to celebrate, Anthony asked Howie where he’d gotten the ring and how he’d paid for it. Howie quickly claimed it wasn’t expensive, but he didn’t sound very sincere.
