Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma PS5 trophies surface

So, I was checking Exophase, that site I use to track trophies, and I noticed the trophy list for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is now live! Looks like we can start planning our trophy hunts!

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma first launched for Switch 2, Switch, and PC via Steam on June 5.

Although Sony hasn’t officially said anything about a PlayStation 5 version, the Australian Classification Board listed both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S as platforms the game will be available on as early as June.

Here is an overview of the game, via MarvelouS USA:

About

Guardians of Azuma reimagines the popular action RPG and life-simulation gameplay that fans of the Rune Factory series enjoy. This new adventure is set in the previously unexplored eastern country of Azuma. As an Earth Dancer, you’ll battle a spreading corruption and work to restore hope to this once-thriving land.

I’m so excited about this game! You get to pick one of two characters, and their stories are totally connected by some really cool, mysterious stuff. We’ll be using ancient treasures to battle this spreading darkness called the Blight and basically save everyone – even the gods! But it’s not just about fighting. We get to rebuild whole villages, farm, and make friends to get new resources. The world is based on Japan and has these beautiful, seasonal villages with festivals I’ve already seen previews of, and there are even characters you can romance! It really feels like you’re stepping into a brand new world and living out a destiny. I can’t wait to play!

Story

The Celestial Collapse was a terrible disaster. A massive object struck the eastern lands of Azuma, breaking the earth apart and sending pieces of land flying into the sky and sea. This cataclysm cut off the flow of power from ancient runes, causing the nature gods to disappear. Mountains fell, fields died, and the people were left with nothing, not even a glimmer of hope.

You jolt awake, shaken from a dream about dragons fighting. You’re not sure what it meant or how it started, but a voice echoes in your mind.

“Accept the power of an Earth Dancer. Use this power to save the land.”
