Pokemon Legends: Z-A DLC ‘Mega Dimension’ reveals Mega Lucario Z

The Pokémon Company and Game Freak have revealed a new trailer and images for the “Mega Dimension” downloadable content for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, showcasing the Mega-Evolved Pokémon, Mega Lucario Z.

Researchers have discovered a new form of Lucario, called Mega Lucario Z. It’s confirmed to be a Mega Evolution because its appearance dramatically changes when exposed to a special Mega Stone, and it becomes much more powerful than a regular Lucario.

Mega Lucario Z’s long fur around its head and waist, combined with its large, fan-shaped tail, can obscure its quick and powerful attacks, potentially confusing opponents during a fight. Its hands and shins are reinforced with steel energy, letting it focus its strength into these areas for especially strong hits.

Z-Mega Evolutions, like Mega Lucario Z, allow for faster move execution but drain their energy quickly. This makes them powerful for quick wins, but less effective in drawn-out battles.

Mega Lucario, a powerful form of Lucario, is featured in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. A newly discovered version called Mega Lucario Z will be available as downloadable content in an expansion called “Mega Dimension.”

Extra Side Mission Now Availalbe

Trainers can now get both Mewtwonite X and Mewtwonite Y as Mystery Gifts in Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Pokemon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Receiving these stones unlocks a special side mission featuring Mewtwo. This mission seems to be triggered by visiting Lysandre Cafe and the depths of Lysandre Labs, where the Mega Stones cause a system reactivation. Completing the mission lets you add the Legendary Pokemon Mewtwo to your team.

You can now play Pokemon Legends: Z-A on both the new Switch 2 and the original Switch. The “Mega Dimension” downloadable content will be released on December 10th and costs $29.99 or 3,000 yen.
