The gem-matching roguelite game ANTHEM#9 is coming to PC via Steam in February 2026 and will cost 2,200 yen. Publisher Shueisha Games and developer koeda also announced that the game will support English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese languages.

I recently discovered this group called ANTHEM#9, and they’re a worldwide secret society. Basically, they believe the key to keeping the planet safe is finding a balance and living in harmony with everything. It’s a pretty interesting concept, honestly.
For decades, ANTHEM#9 has worked to maintain global stability by secretly identifying and neutralizing people and technologies considered dangerous before they could cause worldwide problems.
Meet the Cast
There are many ANTHEM#9 operatives working globally, but the game centers on a specific group of agents.
- Rubit – The game’s protagonist and an ANTHEM#9 agent with a mysterious background. Rubit’s actions always follow a principle of balanced beauty. Their talkative personality hides a rational mind which can be ruthless in eliminating targets. A cunning fighter who combines daggers and poison for maximum effect.
Combat Mechanics
Combine Gems to unleash Skills in puzzle-based battles!
Each turn, you’ll get a random mix of red, green, and blue Gems. Use the right combinations of these Gems to complete Skill Recipes and damage your opponents.
You can add up to four Skills to your deck and keep using them each turn as long as you have enough Gems. Try different combinations to find what works best for creating powerful combos!

koeda is a solo game developer active since 2021.
I always wanted to make games, but I started from absolutely scratch – no experience and definitely not a programmer! I decided to finally go for it after turning 30, teaching myself the basics with tutorial books. It was tough, and there were times I felt totally lost, but I kept pushing. I also made a point of showing off my work at every indie game event I could find.
Koeda’s debut game, ANTHEM#9, took first prize in the “No Demo” category at Shueisha Game Creators CAMP’s “GAME BBQ vol.2” competition.
