Wow, Season 34 of Dancing With The Stars just finished, and I was so happy to see Robert Irwin win the Mirrorball Trophy! It’s amazing because he’s the second person in his family to take home the prize. Now everyone’s already talking about the next season, and I have to admit, I’m curious to see if Terri Irwin might give it a go. Imagine if they could make it three wins for the family – that would be incredible! It’d truly be a dancing dynasty, wouldn’t it?
While Terri Irwin had a quick dance appearance with Robert during Season 34, she hasn’t been a serious contestant on the show. Fans are eager to see Steve Irwin’s wife compete, and Robert recently shared his opinion about that possibility with The Hollywood Reporter.
I’ve started a petition to get my mom on Dancing With the Stars, but she’s really hesitant! She keeps saying no, but I’m determined to convince her. I think she’d be amazing on the show. Clearly, someone in the family has dancing ability – I didn’t know I could dance, and neither did Bindi, but we both did well on the show. It definitely didn’t come from my dad, who was athletic but had no sense of rhythm. So, it must be my mom! It’s only fair she give it a try.
I’m a little hesitant about whether it’s right for Terri Irwin to be on Dancing With The Stars, but I do think Robert Irwin has a point – it would be great to see her do it. I’m really hoping the Irwin family can become the first family to win the show three times in a row.

It’s easy to see why Terri Irwin might be hesitant to compete, considering everything. Seeing how nervous other celebrities like Alix Earle were, I can only guess how much pressure she feels, knowing viewers expect her to win, just like her kids do. I wouldn’t want to be in that position either, especially since the show seems to be a mix of fun and serious work.
Terri Irwin might impress us, just like her son Robert surprised everyone with his natural talent for dancing. He was so good, people encouraged him to pursue it professionally, and the show was such a hit this season that viewers are asking for it to air twice a week.
It’s perfectly understandable if the Irwin family decides to return to Australia after their time in the US for Dancing With The Stars. There are many other celebrities who would gladly compete on the show, so there’s no need to push Terri Irwin to participate if she doesn’t want to.
Currently, Dancing With The Stars isn’t airing new episodes, but I anticipate an announcement about the next season in the new year on ABC and Disney+. I’ve already started thinking about potential celebrity contestants and which professional dancers might return.
