Bachelor’s Juliana Pasquarosa Reveals Why She and Grant Ellis Broke U

Juliana Pasquarosa is reflecting on when the last petal fell in her romance with Grant Ellis

Six months after announcing their split following the season 29 finale of The Bachelor, the contestant shared details about what led to the end of their three-month engagement.

I’ve noticed Grant and I have been pretty private about things, and honestly, it’s because we both really care about each other. I just don’t want him to get any unfair criticism because of our connection. I think it’s time people understood where we stand, and we’re ready to share a little more clarity.

During the “After the Final Rose” special, Litia Garr shared that the Bachelor had told her he considered ending the show because he felt so connected to her. Juliana noticed their relationship starting to fall apart after Litia revealed this information.

Juliana remembered that right after the rose ceremony, the first thing he said was that he’d already thought about how they could announce their breakup. She was surprised because she hadn’t even decided if she wanted to break up with him yet.

Juliana was more bothered by Grant’s reaction after Litia revealed the secret than she was by Litia telling it.

She felt the issue stemmed from how he dealt with it and his unwillingness to take responsibility.

Juliana recently spoke about her split from Grant, following Grant’s comments about how hard it was to end their engagement.

Writing this was difficult, but I wanted to be honest about our split,” the 31-year-old explained in her announcement. “We both tried very hard and truly cared for each other, but after talking things through, we realized we weren’t meant to be together in the long run.

Grant emphasized that the duo maintained “love” for each other, despite their decision to split.

And Juliana echoed the sentiment.

In a joint statement, the couple explained they shared a special connection and supported each other through a significant period of growth. While they’re no longer together as they once envisioned, they expressed mutual respect, care, and optimism for the future.

Before The Golden Bachelor even premiered, Mel Owen faced criticism for comments he made on the MGoBlue Podcasts With Jon Jansen. He stated he wouldn’t consider women over 60 and preferred they avoid things like hip replacements or wigs.

Although his longtime partner, Peg Munson, is also in her sixties, their relationship is full of spark. The retired NFL linebacker described her to Glamour as someone with a lot of energy.

Even though he didn’t kneel during his final game in November 2025, the athlete—who is also a lawyer—presented his partner with a Neil Lane diamond ring, explaining that it symbolized their dedication to each other and their willingness to build a future together.

Spencer Conley, who made a good impression on Jenn Tran with his friendly personality during The Bachelorette, found romance on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. He shared a post with Jess Edwards (who previously tried to connect with Joey Graziadei on The Bachelor) hinting that they were starting to fall for each other – a common way to say they weren’t quite ready to say “I love you” yet. In an August 2025 Instagram Story, Spencer playfully declared he’d “already won.”

Jess echoed the sentiment, posting on social media, “Just really happy about this guy and everything!”

They were thrilled to choose each other over the $250,000 prize, and their happiness continued when they got engaged and received an unexpected check for $190,000.

“Everything that we’ve been through,” Jess said, “has led us to this exact moment.”

Jess announced during the November 2025 After the Finale Rose special that she would be moving to Dallas in a few weeks, following her blossoming relationship.

Bailey Taylor Brown shared on Instagram in August 2025 that her date with Jeremy Simon was the best first date she’d ever had, following his appearance on the tenth season of Paradise. But could it also be their last? The social media manager, who originally competed for Grant Ellis’s affection, and the real estate investor who almost won over Jenn on The Bachelorette, managed to overcome their biggest fight yet when Bailey discovered Jeremy had hesitated about sending Susie Evans home.

Their romance continued to blossom while they were in Costa Rica. Even though they didn’t make it to the end of Bachelor in Paradise, they decided to keep dating after the show. They’ve already met each other’s families and are making plans to live in the same city.

In a September 2025 Instagram post, Bailey expressed how fortunate she felt to have met her partner and shared her excitement for the future.

It looks like things are still going strong between Paradise season 10 contestants Andrew Spencer, who was on Katie Thurston’s season, and Alexe Godin from Grant’s season. Just six days after Andrew publicly called Alexe his “love” on Instagram in August 2025, she returned the sweet sentiment, calling him her “darling” in a post of her own.

Although they picked love instead of the $250,000 prize on the Bachelor in Paradise finale, they still received $125,000 as a parting gift.

“This is incredible,” Alexe exclaimed. “I’m leaving with money, but more importantly, with love.”

The show will follow Alexe and Andrew as they start a new chapter together in Chicago, with Alexe planning a move to be with Andrew in the city.

In September 2025, she posted on Instagram about finding someone she connected with, saying she was excited to share her life with them.

During the Bachelor in Paradise finale, a difficult situation arose for Kat Izzo and Dale Moss when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat had hidden a laptop and was secretly writing letters to a former boyfriend. Kat, who works as a nurse practitioner, strongly denied having any contact with him while on the show.

She asked if they were still together before this happened. He replied that they were, explaining he hadn’t expected to meet anyone else.

Even though Kat and Dale didn’t make it to the final test on Paradise, their relationship continued to grow. The show later revealed that the two—Kat, who was on Zach Shallcross’ season, and Dale, who was on Clare Crawley’s—traveled the U.S. together and started making plans for their future, including potentially moving closer to each other.

Dale wrote under Kat’s August 2025 Instagram post that things were difficult at times, but they got through it together, and he wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.

Status: Just friends—for now

After leaving season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima (who was a finalist on Golden Bachelor) seemed optimistic about a future together, even sharing a video about creating new memories. However, Leslie, who once inspired musician Prince, isn’t certain she wants to pursue a romantic relationship with Gary.

She shared that she and Gary talk constantly. Appearing on Bachelor Happy Hour in August 2025, she described him as one of her closest friends, someone she can always rely on for support. She explained that he helps her calm down when she’s stressed, and they consistently support each other and have each other’s backs.

Okay, so she did admit the distance is tough – she’s all the way in Minnesota and he’s in California, which is, like, almost 2,000 miles! But she’s not giving up, not at all! She said the most important thing to her, in any relationship, especially a romantic one, is being friends first. Seriously, that’s everything to her. She wants to grow old with her best friend, and honestly, isn’t that the dream?! I just know they’re meant to be, even with the miles. It’s just so sweet!

Status: Just friends

Kim Buike, a frontrunner on Golden Bachelorette, has found love with Faith Martin, who previously received the first impression rose from Gerry Turner on The Bachelor. Despite being eliminated on season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, the couple is still together. In August 2025, Faith shared a video on Instagram showing Kim enjoying a date in her hometown of Washington.

In the end, they realized they were better suited as friends than as a couple.

Faith shared in a September 2025 Instagram video that she and this person talk about two or three times a week, even though he lives five and a half hours away. She clarified that they’re not in a romantic relationship – they never even fell in love – but they did have a strong connection while filming their show.

Grant met twenty-five women when he first appeared on The Bachelor, and Juliana Pasquarosa ultimately received his final rose. Unfortunately, the couple broke up less than three months after the proposal was shown on television.

Grant announced on Instagram on June 13th that he and Juliana have decided to break up. He explained that they both tried their best and cared deeply for each other, but after careful consideration, they realized they weren’t compatible for the future.

Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor and later became the first-ever Golden Bachelorette, is engaged! She found love with contestant Chock Chapple during her season of The Golden Bachelorette and accepted his proposal.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I was completely losing it watching The Golden Bachelorette finale! Joan was just… everything. She said, and I’m still getting chills remembering this, that they were proof you can find hope at any age, and honestly, it felt like she was speaking directly to me! Then, right there in Bora Bora, with the most gorgeous backdrop ever, Chock told her he loved her! He said he’d waited for that perfect moment to say it, and that he wanted to spend forever with her – waking up next to her, kissing her goodnight… seriously, I ugly-cried. It was the most beautiful thing ever! I’m telling you, they’re soulmates!

During the season 21 finale of The Bachelorette, it seemed like Jenn Tran, who previously appeared on The Bachelor, had found love with her final choice, Devin Strader. However, Jenn shared during the After the Final Rose special in September 2024 that Devin distanced himself from her immediately after filming ended.

Jenn explained to Jesse Palmer that he had strongly declared his love for her, but the very next day acted as if those feelings never existed. She said all the promises and affection he’d expressed were suddenly gone.

The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective and taking responsibility for his actions. He also revealed details about a 15-minute phone call where he ended the relationship.

Jenn said he ended their relationship during a phone call in August, but he insists she pressed him for answers when he was trying to tell her in person.

He said he’d been wanting to tell her face-to-face, but she pushed him to reveal it sooner than he’d planned. “I felt like she left me no choice,” he explained.

Jenn then found love on Dancing With the Stars with her partner, Sasha Farber. They continued dating even after being eliminated from the show in October 2024, but ultimately broke up in 2025.

Greg Grippo, who appeared on Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, began dating Victoria Fuller from Bachelor in Paradise in November 2022. They announced their relationship on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise, but Greg revealed in April 2024 that they had broken up.

Okay, so, can we talk about Victoria and Greg?! Before they finally admitted they were together on the Bachelor in Paradise finale – which, honestly, I KNEW was happening – Victoria actually broke up with Johnny! I mean, she and Johnny were engaged, and then POOF, it was over before she could even run into Greg’s arms. It was all so dramatic, and I was glued to the screen the entire time!

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist got engaged in November 2023 at the end of the first season of The Golden Bachelor and were married in a televised ceremony in January 2024. They are now divorced.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.

Oh my gosh, I was devastated watching Gerry and Theresa on Good Morning America this April! They were talking, really talking, about everything – their life together, their home, just…everything. And Gerry said they’d both realized, after so many honest conversations, that it was time to get a divorce. It just broke my heart to hear him say it, like their story was really ending. They said it was mutual, but still…so sad!

They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

In April 2025, Gerry shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he had started dating someone and things were progressing nicely.

Oh my gosh, you guys, I’m still reeling! After watching Joey search for love all season, he finally proposed to Kelsey! Can you believe it?! He went through thirty-two women, but Kelsey Anderson was the one! It was so sweet – he literally told her he couldn’t wait another minute to tell her he loved her before getting down on one knee. He said she has this amazing energy that just makes him smile, something he’s never felt before. And then, he said he always wanted a beautiful life, but didn’t realize how beautiful it could be until he met her! I’m seriously so happy for them both, they’re perfect together!

John Henry Spurlock, who competed for Charity Lawson’s affection on The Bachelor, and Kat Izzo, a contestant from Zach Shallcross’ season, found a connection on Bachelor in Paradise, but their romance didn’t last. After proposing with a Neil Lane diamond, the couple announced their split just days after the show’s finale. They explained on Instagram that their differing career goals led them to realize they weren’t a good long-term match, but they remained thankful for the support they received from family, friends, and fans.

Eliza Isichei, who previously dated Clayton Echard, is engaged! Despite being anxious about finding love again after Paradise, she happily said yes to Aaron Bryant’s proposal by the ocean. She was especially touched that Aaron asked her mother for her blessing, admitting she was overwhelmed with emotion.

However, their engagement didn’t last. After returning from Mexico, Eliza and Aaron faced some challenges and ultimately decided to end things.

In a December 2023 Instagram post, Aaron explained they are parting ways amicably, with positivity and respect for each other.

Despite previously expressing disappointment that her boyfriend, Aven Jones, hadn’t proposed in the traditional way – something he had apparently been ready to do on The Bachelorette with Rachel Recchia – Kylee Russell accepted his proposal to try and make their relationship work after Paradise. Although she had a special engagement dress prepared, she felt she had to follow her heart, believing that love requires taking chances. However, just two days after the show’s finale aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on social media that the relationship had ended due to Aven’s infidelity. Aven later apologized, admitting he had made serious mistakes and hurt Kylee deeply.

Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of The Bachelorette ended! She hinted to TopMob News that things were going well, but her August 2023 finale was even better than expected. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposed to Charity, a child and family therapist, getting down on one knee and calling their love “perfect.” He asked her to marry him and make their relationship a reality.

Although they’re planning a wedding for 2025 or 2026, Charity will first be hitting the dance floor on Dancing With the Stars. Dotun surprised her with the news on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, excitedly telling her he knew how much she loved to dance and that he was thrilled she’d be on the show.

Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar are happily married! Despite some ups and downs during season 27 of The Bachelor, Zach proposed to Kaity in March 2023, telling her, “I am so in love with you. You are my world. The love I feel for you is something I could have never imagined.” In July 2023, they announced they had taken their relationship to the next level by becoming roommates.

Kaity and her partner got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. They had originally envisioned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in June 2025, she wanted to focus on what truly mattered – their love and connection – and felt she was getting too caught up in minor details.

However, one thing especially delighted her: the aunt who signed her up to compete for Zach’s affection also discovered the charming chapel near Austin where they held the ceremony. “It was absolutely perfect,” Kaity shared.

Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who seemed like a promising couple after meeting on Bachelor in Paradise, have broken up. Despite a strong connection – Danielle had previously experienced loss, and Michael is a single father raising his young son James – the couple split after about a year of Danielle moving to Ohio to be with Michael. Michael explained on a podcast that while they loved each other, they weren’t compatible long-term, and he’s grieving the loss of both the relationship and the future they had planned together.

Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on season seven of Paradise, telling her he would love her forever. However, their relationship didn’t last. Just five months after getting engaged on the show, the couple announced their split in a May 2023 Instagram post. They explained that trying to make things work had been very difficult with so much public attention, and while they still cared for each other deeply, they were heartbroken and asked for privacy and kindness.

Pilot Rachel and contractor Tino Franco ended their engagement after he kissed someone else while their season of the show was still being broadcast. Tino later admitted on the podcast The Viall Files that he deeply regrets his actions. He said he feels ashamed, understands he hurt Rachel, and wishes he could go back and do things differently.

Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which began on season 26 of The Bachelor, had a complicated journey. After Susie initially turned Clayton down during the finale, they briefly reconnected, but ultimately split six months later. Susie explained in a November 2022 blog post that while they shared happy times, she wasn’t truly thriving and felt disconnected from her best self. She emphasized the breakup was necessary for her well-being.

Susie then began dating Justin Glaze, who appeared on Bachelor Nation, but they ended their relationship in August 2024.

Michelle, an elementary school teacher from Minnesota, accepted a proposal and a $200,000 check for a future home from Nayte Olukoya, a sales executive from Texas, after appearing on a reality show. However, the couple broke up six months after the show’s finale in December 2021, realizing they weren’t a good match. Nayte later admitted on a podcast that they had many arguments and disagreements, and that ending things without an in-person conversation was a mistake.

Michelle later began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they got engaged the following year. They were married in Minnesota in June 2025.

Fans were really hoping to see Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian build a life together, picturing cozy Sunday mornings as a couple. However, the Bachelor in Paradise season seven pair only lasted a few months. In a joint statement released in January 2022, Maurissa (who previously dated Peter Weber) and Riley (known from Tayshia Adams’ season) announced they were breaking up. They explained that they both needed to focus on personal growth and hadn’t expected to split up.

Status: Split

The first same-sex couple to get engaged on Bachelor in Paradise – during season six – revealed their breakup in 2019 on Halloween.

It breaks my heart to share this, but I’ve just read their statement and I’m trying to process it. They’ve always made it clear how much love and care they have for each other, and they’ve always prioritized what’s best for both of them. Apparently, after a lot of consideration, they’ve decided to take some time apart to focus on themselves and grow as individuals. They said it was a really tough decision, made with a lot of love, but they feel it’s what they both need right now to be happy in the long run. It’s so sad, but I respect their honesty and wish them all the best.

Despite a breakup during season seven of Bachelor in Paradise, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer realized they were meant to be together. The couple, who first competed for the hearts of Tayshia and Matt James respectively, initially lived in San Diego before recently buying a house in Noah’s hometown of Tulsa. Abigail announced the exciting news on Instagram in July 2023, joking that they were entering their ‘Chip and Joanna Gaines era.’ They’re now planning a wedding after Noah proposed to Abigail at a beach house in San Diego in August 2023.

Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile, who first connected on reality TV, secretly tied the knot in October 2022! The couple – Serena was a finalist on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor, and Joe, a grocery store owner from Chicago, became known after being sent home early on Becca Kufrin’s season – decided to have a small ceremony at City Hall in New York City about a year after getting engaged on Bachelor in Paradise. They’re still planning a larger wedding for September 2023. Serena, who now co-hosts the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast with Joe, shared the news with a video and the caption, “We are still having a wedding this September but who doesn’t want to get married twice!”

Kenny Braasch proposed to Mari Pepin with a Neil Lane diamond ring during the 2021 finale of Paradise, telling her, “I am so in love with you and can’t imagine my life without you.” Mari, originally from Maryland and a contestant on The Bachelor, moved to Chicago to be with Kenny, who had previously been eliminated on Paradise by Tayshia Adams. Before their November 2023 wedding – a 65-person oceanfront ceremony in Puerto Rico – the couple cemented their bond with matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023.

Status: Married

Becca Kufrin, who starred on The Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs, known from Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelor, found love on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021. They briefly split up during filming but got back together after the show ended.

In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca was the one who proposed. She told TopMob News that she hoped their unconventional approach would encourage others to break with tradition. Thomas returned the proposal in October. In September 2023, they welcomed their son, Benson, with Becca sharing on Instagram that no words could express how much love they felt for him.

Just weeks after Benson’s birth, the couple had a surprise wedding ceremony on October 13th.
