New posters for the upcoming Spider-Man animated series, featuring the character Spider-Noir, reveal two options for how viewers can watch the show, which stars Nicolas Cage.
A new superhero TV series, ‘Spider-Noir,’ is in development, with Nicolas Cage starring as Ben Reilly, also known as Spider-Man Noir. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot are leading the show, which is expected to debut in 2026.
What are the two different versions of Spider-Noir?
Following an initial sighting at the CCXP convention, which runs until December 7th, Prime Video’s official Twitter account has now released two versions of the Spider-Noir poster.
The show will be released in both color and black and white versions. Check out the posters below!
Lukas Haas, who plays a role in the upcoming Spider-Noir project, recently shared details about the unique filming experience. He described it as an amazing collaboration with a talented cast, including Brendan Gleeson, who played his character’s boss. The production team intentionally created a classic film noir atmosphere, using techniques like long shadows and filming in black and white – even the monitors on set were black and white! This helped the actors feel like they were part of an older film, and the final result looks incredibly authentic, like a genuine 1930s black and white movie. Haas also praised the writing and director Nic, calling the project fun and expressing excitement to see the finished product.
I’m really intrigued by this new show! It’s about a former superhero, now a washed-up private eye, living in 1930s New York. Apparently, he’s forced to confront his past – the life he left behind when he hung up the cape. It sounds like a great mix of noir and superhero stuff, and I’m definitely checking it out.
