Miley Cyrus’ love for fiancé Maxx Morando isn’t paper-thin. 

The drummer supports Miley Cyrus with a long-held and surprising fear – she’s afraid of paper. This phobia has even made it hard for her to fully enjoy holidays and celebrations.

Okay, so, you won’t BELIEVE this, but I’m kinda infamous for being a bit of a Grinch around Christmas! I was telling Jimmy Kimmel all about it the other day. It’s not about Christmas itself, it’s the PAPER! Seriously, it drives me crazy. Everyone has dry hands in the winter, right? And they’re touching all this wrapping paper and gift tags… it just gets me! It’s a whole thing, I swear! I explained it all to Jimmy, and he totally got it… well, I hope he did!

I’ve been following Miley’s story, and it’s really heartbreaking. It turns out she has this intense fear of certain sounds, and it’s not just around Christmas. She’s explained that it actually goes way back to when she was a kid – her siblings used to tease her by rubbing paper together, and it really stuck with her. She’s said it’s now impacting things she does every single day, which is just awful to hear.

She explained that receiving an Amazon package makes her feel unwell. “The cardboard is the biggest problem,” she said, “it’s very dry, and there’s a lot of extra packaging inside.”

Luckily, Maxx had a solution. She jokingly explained her engagement, saying it was simply to have someone else handle all the deliveries outside.

Having been married before to Liam Hemsworth, the 33-year-old understands what it takes to make a marriage work this time around.

She said that smooth surfaces work best, like waxed paper. She also recalled using waxed paper in a previous marriage.

They’ll decide on the wedding invitations tomorrow. Right now, Miley is still enjoying the excitement of their surprise engagement.

She’s always been so in charge of everything, a total control freak! But she said something completely threw her for a loop. She was SO surprised, she kept saying ‘so, so, SO surprised!’ I seriously couldn’t believe she was actually caught off guard – it’s amazing! I’ve been following her forever and I was genuinely shocked that she was shocked!

You know, I’ve always said the best proposals are deeply personal, and this one really hits the mark! He proposed to her in Japan – a place she’d never visited before – and honestly, that’s exactly what she’d been dreaming of. It shows he truly listens and wanted to create a completely unforgettable moment for her. It’s all about making it special and tailored to her wishes, and he absolutely nailed it.

She explained that she wanted a personal sanctuary – a place just for herself where she could escape and recharge.

She’s also eager to praise Maxx for picking out the sparkler, excitedly saying, “He did a great job!”
