By order of Netflix, we finally have a release date for the Peaky Blinders movie.
The movie, formerly known as The Immortal Man, will be released in theaters on March 6th, 2026, and will then become available on the streaming service on March 20th, 2026.
Netflix shared a first glimpse of their new Peaky Blinders film, releasing some teaser artwork. This is the first look at the continuing story of the Birmingham gang more than three years after the original series finished.
The new poster, shown below, features Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby riding a horse, mirroring a scene from the series finale.
The movie has officially received an R rating in the United States, so viewers can anticipate content geared towards mature audiences.

Cillian Murphy is back as the unforgettable Thomas Shelby, and we’ll also see familiar actors like Stephen Graham as Hayden Stagg, Sophie Rundle as Ada Shelby, and Ned Dennehy as Charlie Strong return for more.
The cast is getting some exciting new additions, including Tim Roth, Barry Keoghan, and Jay Lycurgo. Lycurgo recently received a BIFA award for Best Supporting Performance in the Netflix film Steve, where he acted alongside Cillian Murphy.
I’d been hoping to work with Cillian for ages, and luckily, we share the same agent. I kept checking in, asking when we might get a chance to collaborate. So when this project came along, it was an immediate yes for me.

Honestly, stepping into a project with such a dedicated fanbase and a long history was a little intimidating! It’s a world that’s already so established and deeply loved, you really feel the weight of expectation. So, I was truly honored they gave me the chance to work on it – it’s a massive film, and they put a lot of trust in my vision.
Even after the events of the film, the story of the Shelby family will continue, as the series has been renewed for two more seasons, confirmed last October.
The next season will be set in the future, following the children of the Shelby family. The story centers around a fierce and intense power struggle for control of Birmingham’s major rebuilding efforts.
