Kaitlyn Bristowe Addresses Ex Shawn Booth’s Frozen Sperm

Whitney Bischoff is holding on to some baggage from a breakup—just not her own.

Six years after Kaitlyn Bristowe and her Bachelorette winner, Shawn Booth, split up, another member of the Bachelor franchise addressed a curious question: was the fertility clinic still storing Shawn’s frozen sperm?

On her podcast, Off the Vine, Kaitlyn Bristowe mentioned that Shawn Booth had said she still has his frozen sperm.

Whitney, a fertility nurse and mother of two, revealed on the December 4th episode of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Off the Vine podcast that while she personally doesn’t experience a particular feeling, the possibility remains.

Kaitlyn, who was previously engaged to Justin Tartick from 2021 to 2023, laughed when she heard the news. She explained that it wasn’t something anyone could really do anything with, only that he had the option to use it if he wanted.

To which Whitney only partially agreed, adding, “He could, but he could also just discard it.”

After Kaitlyn and Shawn split in 2018, Shawn had a son named Lock with Audrey Joseph. He previously mentioned freezing some of his sperm to help an ex-girlfriend with fertility treatments. Although he didn’t mention Kaitlyn by name, she had begun her own fertility journey in 2017, before their breakup.

He remembered that his former partner had her eggs frozen a few years back, and he said it was a significant event at the time. He shared this story on the 2023 podcast, In the Booth.

Shawn shared that when he was accompanying his ex-girlfriend to a fertility clinic appointment, a nurse offered him the option of providing a sperm sample, and he unexpectedly agreed.

He admitted he had no idea where it was, adding with a laugh that they might need DNA tests to find it.

Even though Kaitlyn’s friend still has her ex-partner’s sperm, she’s moved on and isn’t keeping anything else to remind her of the relationship.

Kaitlyn shared on the April 3rd episode of Off the Vine that she’s gone from feeling angry with someone to now feeling compassion for him. She explained that she’s processed a lot of difficult emotions and now understands his actions, even feeling like she wants to offer him a hug and acknowledge the hurt he experienced, realizing they both used to seek revenge against each other.

As she put it, “I actually want the best for him.”

Before The Golden Bachelor even premiered, Mel Owen faced criticism for comments he made on the MGoBlue Podcasts With Jon Jansen. He stated he wouldn’t consider women over 60 and preferred they didn’t have artificial hips or wigs.

Although his longtime partner, Peg Munson, is also in her sixties, their relationship is full of spark. The retired NFL linebacker described her to Glamour as being incredibly energetic.

Even though he didn’t kneel during his final game in November 2025, the athlete—who is also a lawyer—presented his partner with a Neil Lane diamond ring, explaining it symbolized their dedication to each other and their willingness to work together on their future.

Status: Engaged

Spencer Conley, who made a good impression on Jenn Tran with his friendly personality on The Bachelorette, found romance on the 10th season of Bachelor in Paradise. He shared a post with Jess Edwards (who previously tried to connect with Joey Graziadei on The Bachelor) hinting that they were falling for each other—a common way of saying they weren’t quite ready to say “I love you.” In an August 2025 Instagram post, Spencer jokingly declared he’d “already won.”

Jess echoed the sentiment, posting on social media, “Just really happy about this guy and everything!”

They were overjoyed – after choosing each other over the $250,000 prize, they got engaged and were then surprised with a check for $190,000.

“Everything that we’ve been through,” Jess said, “has led us to this exact moment.”

Jess shared during the November 2025 After the Finale Rose special that she’ll be moving to Dallas in a few weeks, as their relationship progresses.

Status: Dating

Bailey Taylor Brown shared on Instagram in August 2025 that her date with Jeremy Simon was the best first date she’d ever had, following their time on season 10 of Paradise. However, it might also be their last. The social media manager, who originally tried to win Grant Ellis’ affection, and the real estate investor, who almost won over Jenn on The Bachelorette, managed to get through a particularly difficult fight after Bailey discovered Jeremy had hesitated about sending Susie Evans home.

Their romance continued to blossom while they were in Costa Rica. Even though they didn’t make it to the end of Bachelor in Paradise, they decided to keep dating after the show finished filming. The show also shared that they’ve already met each other’s families and are making plans to live in the same city.

In a September 2025 Instagram post, Bailey expressed how fortunate she felt to have met her partner and shared her excitement for the future.

Status: Dating

It looks like things are still going well for Andrew Spencer, from Katie Thurston’s season of Paradise, and Alexe Godin, who appeared on Grant’s season. Just six days after Andrew publicly called Alexe his “love” on Instagram in August 2025, she responded by calling him her “sweetheart” in a post of her own.

Although they picked love instead of the $250,000 prize on the Bachelor in Paradise finale, they still received $125,000.

“This is incredible,” Alexe exclaimed. “I’m leaving with money, yes, but more importantly, I’m leaving with love.”

The show will follow Alexe and Andrew as they start a new chapter together in Chicago, with Alexe planning to move to the city with her partner.

In September 2025, she shared on Instagram that she’d found someone who was as quirky and unique as herself, and she was excited to build a future with them.

Status: Dating

During the “Bachelor in Paradise” finale, things got tense for Kat Izzo and Dale Moss when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat had hidden a laptop and was secretly writing letters to an ex-boyfriend. Kat, who works as a nurse practitioner, strongly denied contacting her ex while on the show.

She asked if they were still together before this happened. He replied, “Yes, because I didn’t expect to meet anyone else here.”

Even though Kat and Dale didn’t make it to the final test on Paradise, their relationship continued to grow. The show later revealed that the two – Kat, who was previously on Zach Shallcross’ season, and Dale, a former contestant from Clare Crawley’s season – traveled around the U.S. together and were planning a future together, including moving closer to each other.

Dale wrote under Kat’s August 2025 Instagram post that things were difficult at times, but they got through it together, and he wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.

Status: Just friends—for now

After leaving season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima (who was a finalist on Golden Bachelor) seemed to have a promising future together, even sharing a hopeful video about making new memories. However, Leslie, who once inspired musician Prince, isn’t certain she wants a romantic relationship with Gary.

She shared that she and Gary talk constantly. Appearing on Bachelor Happy Hour in August 2025, she said Gary is genuinely one of her closest friends. She trusts him enough to call when she’s struggling, and he helps her calm down. They’re always supportive of each other and have each other’s backs.

Even though they live almost 2,000 miles apart – she’s in Minnesota and he’s in California – she’s still optimistic about things. She explained that, for her, the most important part of any relationship, especially a romantic one, is building a friendship first. She wants to be with someone who is also her best friend as they get older.

Status: Just friends

Kim Buike, a frontrunner on Golden Bachelorette, has found love with Faith Martin, who received the first impression rose from Gerry Turner. Despite being eliminated on season 10 of Paradise, the pair are still together. In August 2025, Faith shared a video on Instagram showing Kim enjoying a date with her in Washington.

Eventually, they came to the conclusion that they were better suited as friends than as a couple.

Faith explained in a September 2025 Instagram video that she and the other person talk about two or three times a week, despite living five and a half hours apart. She clarified that they aren’t in a romantic relationship, and never were. They simply had a strong connection while filming the show.

Grant met twenty-five women on the first night of The Bachelor, and Juliana Pasquarosa ultimately received his final rose. Unfortunately, the couple broke up less than three months after their proposal was shown on television.

Grant announced on Instagram on June 13th that he and Juliana have decided to break up. He explained that they both tried their best and cared for each other deeply, but after careful consideration, they realized they weren’t compatible for the future.

Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on The Golden Bachelor and later became the first-ever Golden Bachelorette, is engaged! After appearing on Gerry Turner’s season and choosing to leave early, Joan found love while hosting The Golden Bachelorette and accepted a proposal from Chock Chapple.

During the November 2024 finale of The Golden Bachelorette, Joan shared a hopeful message before accepting Chock’s proposal in Bora Bora: ‘We prove that even later in life, there’s always hope.’ Chock then told her, ‘I waited for this incredible moment to tell you I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you – waking up with you every morning and kissing you goodnight.’

At the end of season 21 of The Bachelorette, it seemed like Jenn Tran, who previously appeared on The Bachelor, had found love with Devin Strader. However, during the After the Final Rose episode in September 2024, Jenn shared that Devin abruptly distanced himself from her once filming concluded.

Jenn explained to Jesse Palmer that he had strongly declared his love for her, but the very next day acted as if those feelings never existed. She said all the promises and affection he’d expressed had completely disappeared.

The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective and taking responsibility for his actions. He also revealed details about the 15-minute phone call where he ended the relationship.

Jenn said he ended their relationship during a phone call in August, but he insists she pressed him for answers when he was trying to tell her in person.

He said he hadn’t seen another option, especially since he’d been wanting to tell her face-to-face. Ultimately, she made him reveal it.

Jenn then met Sasha Farber on Dancing With the Stars, and they became partners both on and off the dance floor. Though they were eliminated from the show in October 2024, they continued dancing together for a time before ultimately splitting up in 2025.

Greg Grippo, who appeared on Katie Thurston’s season of The Bachelorette, began dating Victoria Fuller from Bachelor in Paradise in November 2022. They announced their relationship on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise, but Greg shared in April 2024 that they had broken up.

Before revealing their relationship on the season eight finale of Bachelor in Paradise, Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo had already broken things off with their respective costars – Victoria had ended her engagement with Johnny DePhillipo.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist got engaged in November 2023 at the end of the first season of The Golden Bachelor, and they were married in a televised ceremony in January 2024. They are now divorced.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.

Gerry and Theresa have been having open and honest talks about their relationship and living arrangements. During an appearance on Good Morning America in April 2024, Gerry announced that they’ve both decided to get a divorce.

They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

In April 2025, Gerry shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast that he was seeing someone and things were progressing nicely.

Tennis star Joey has found love! After dating 32 women, he proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson during the March 2024 season finale. He told Kelsey, “I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” and shared that her positive energy made him incredibly happy, a feeling he’d never experienced before. Joey expressed that meeting Kelsey showed him just how wonderful his life could be, and he’s excited to build a future with her.

John Henry Spurlock, who competed for Charity Lawson’s affection on The Bachelor, and Kat Izzo, a contestant from Zach Shallcross’ season, found a connection on Bachelor in Paradise, though it took a while to develop. John Henry proposed with a Neil Lane diamond, telling Kat she was everything he was looking for. However, shortly after the show’s finale, they announced their breakup. In a joint statement on Instagram, they explained that their differing career goals led them to realize they weren’t a long-term match, but they were thankful for the support they received from family, friends, and fans.

Eliza Isichei, who previously dated Clayton Echard, said yes to a proposal from Aaron Bryant! Despite being anxious about a public proposal, Eliza happily accepted Aaron’s offer by the ocean. She was especially touched that he asked her mother for her blessing, admitting she was overcome with emotion.

The couple, who got engaged after The Bachelor, later announced they were ending things. They shared that while watching the show back, they realized they were facing some challenges. In a December 2023 Instagram post, Aaron confirmed their split, stating they were parting ways amicably with positivity and respect for each other.

Despite previously expressing disappointment that her boyfriend, Aven Jones, hadn’t proposed in the traditional way – something he had apparently been ready to do on The Bachelorette with Rachel Recchia – Kylee Russell accepted his proposal to try and make their relationship work after Paradise. Although she had a special engagement dress prepared, she felt she needed to follow her heart, believing that love requires taking chances.

However, just two days after the season finale aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on social media that the relationship had ended due to Aven’s cheating. Aven later apologized to Kylee, admitting he had made serious mistakes and hurt her deeply.

Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of The Bachelorette ended! She hinted to TopMob News, “I am happy with how this season turns out!”—a statement that didn’t fully capture the excitement of the August 2023 finale. In a romantic proposal, Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, got down on one knee and told Charity, a child and family therapist, that their love was “perfect” and asked her to marry him.

Though they’re planning a wedding for 2025 or 2026, Charity will first be hitting the dance floor on Dancing With the Stars. Dotun surprised her with the news on The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, saying, “I know you like to cut up, you like to dance… and I am so happy to be the one to tell you that you’re gonna be on Dancing With the Stars!”

Zach Shallcross proposed to Kaity Biggar during the March 2023 finale of season 27, despite some challenges along the way. He told Kaity, a travel nurse, that she was his world and he was deeply in love with her. In July 2023, the couple, who are based in Texas, announced they had taken their relationship a step further by becoming roommates.

Kaity and her partner got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. They had originally envisioned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she shared on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast in June 2025, she wanted to focus on what truly mattered: their love and connection, rather than getting caught up in minor details.

However, one thing especially impressed her. The aunt who signed her up to compete for Zach’s affection discovered the charming chapel near Austin where they held their wedding. Kaity explained, “It was exactly what we wanted.”

Ugh, I’m still reeling! I seriously thought Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio were the ones. They met on Bachelor in Paradise, and honestly, after everything Danielle’s been through – losing her fiancé, you know? – and Michael being this amazing single dad to little James… I was convinced they’d make it. She even moved to Ohio! But a year later, they broke up. Michael explained it on a podcast – something about loving each other but not being compatible, and mourning the future they’d planned. It’s just… heartbreaking. I really thought they were going to be a Bachelor Nation success story, and now… I’m devastated for them both.

Brandon Jones proposed to Serene Russell on season seven of Paradise, telling her he would love her forever. Sadly, their relationship didn’t last. Just five months after getting engaged on the show, the couple announced their split in May 2023. They shared on Instagram that they had tried to work through their issues privately, but found it difficult with so much public attention. They emphasized that despite the breakup, they still cared deeply for each other and asked for kindness.

Pilot Rachel and contractor Tino Franco broke up after he kissed someone else while their season of the show was still airing. Tino later admitted on the podcast The Viall Files that he deeply regrets his actions. He said it was unfair to Rachel, that he’s still ashamed of it, and wishes he could have handled things differently.

Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which began on the 2022 season of The Bachelor, had a complicated journey. After Susie initially turned Clayton down during the finale, they briefly reconnected, but ultimately broke up after about six months. Susie, a videographer based in Los Angeles, has explained that the split was necessary for her own well-being. In a blog post, she shared that she wasn’t truly happy and felt she was losing herself, despite having some good times with Clayton. She realized she needed to prioritize her own growth and happiness.

Susie then began dating Justin Glaze, who is known from The Bachelor franchise, but they ended their relationship in August 2024.

Michelle, an elementary school teacher from Minnesota, received a proposal and a $200,000 check for a future home from Nayte Olukoya, a sales executive from Texas, after appearing on a reality show. However, the couple broke up six months after the show’s finale in December 2021, as they struggled to connect and often argued. Nayte later admitted it was a mistake that they didn’t have the final breakup conversation in person. Michelle later began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they became engaged the following year, marrying in Minnesota in June 2025.

Fans were really hoping to see Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian build a life together, picturing cozy Sunday mornings for the couple. Unfortunately, their relationship from season seven of BIP only lasted a short time – just a few weekends.

In a joint statement released in January 2022, Maurissa, a patient coordinator who previously dated Peter Weber, and Riley, an attorney who competed for Tayshia Adams’ heart, announced they were breaking up. They explained that they realized they both needed to focus on personal growth.

Status: Split

The first same-sex couple from Bachelor in Paradise got engaged on season six, but they broke up in 2019 and announced the split on Halloween.

We’ve always cared deeply for each other, and making the best decision for both of us has always been our top priority. With love and sadness, we’ve decided to take a break and focus on ourselves. We believe this is the best path forward for our individual growth and overall well-being right now, as shared in a joint statement.

Despite a breakup during season seven of Bachelor in Paradise, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer realized they were meant to be together. After initially living in San Diego, the couple recently bought a house in Noah’s hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Abigail announced the exciting news on Instagram in July 2023, saying they’re entering their ‘Chip and Joanna Gaines era’ and looking forward to making memories in their new home. They’re even starting to plan a wedding! Noah proposed to Abigail at a beachfront home in San Diego in August 2023.

As a huge fan, I was so thrilled to hear that Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile officially tied the knot! They decided to get legally married at City Hall in New York City back in October 2022, about a year after getting engaged on Paradise. Serena even shared the news with a fun video and caption saying, “JUST MARRIED!!”. They’re still planning a bigger celebration for September 2023, but honestly, who wouldn’t want to get married twice? It’s so sweet! You might remember Joe as the grocery store owner from Becca Kufrin’s season, and Serena was a finalist on Matt James’ season – they’ve both become fan favorites, and now they’re husband and wife! And Serena’s even co-hosting Bachelor Happy Hour with Joe now, which is just adorable.

Kenny Braasch proposed to Mari Pepin with a Neil Lane diamond ring during the 2021 finale of Paradise, telling her, “I am so in love with you and I can’t imagine my life without you.” Mari, who first appeared on The Bachelor and caught Matt’s eye, relocated from Maryland to Kenny’s hometown of Chicago to start their life together. Before their November 2023 wedding—a 65-person ceremony in Puerto Rico—the couple solidified their bond with matching tattoos during a May 2023 trip to the Bahamas. Kenny was previously eliminated from Paradise by Tayshia Adams in week five.

Status: Married

Becca Kufrin, who starred on The Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs, a contestant from Katie Thurston’s season, found love on season seven of Bachelor in Paradise in 2021. They briefly split up during filming but got back together after the show ended.

In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca was the one who proposed. She told TopMob News she hoped their unconventional approach would inspire others to break with tradition. Thomas returned the gesture by proposing to her in October of the same year. In September 2023, they welcomed their son, Benson, with Becca sharing on Instagram that no words could express how much love they felt for him.

Just weeks after Benson’s birth, the couple had a surprise wedding ceremony on October 13th.
