Greg Nicotero’s Super Creepshow Confirms Spinoff, And It’s Coming Soon

The popular series revived by Greg Nicotero is continuing with a new installment from Skybound Entertainment, and it’s great news for Spider-Man enthusiasts.

Skybound Entertainment announced the return of the classic horror anthology series with the new comic, Super Creepshow #1. Following the success of Super Creepshow Special #1 earlier this year, the ongoing series promises two scary stories per issue, perfect for fans of Greg Nicotero’s Creepshow on Shudder. You can see the different cover options and a sneak peek inside the comic below.

The first issue of Super Creepshow launches a new series featuring two distinct stories per issue, each created by a different team. The premiere issue begins with a story from writer Kieron Gillen and artist Rossi Gifford, which Skybound Entertainment says will be a thrilling read. Following that, writer Ryan North and artist Derek Charm will explore the terrifying side of super speed!

After the debut of Super Creepshow #1, fans can expect more chilling tales from creators like Gerry Dugan, Scott Buoncristiano, Marv Wolfman, and others. These stories will continue to offer frightening new takes on classic superhero themes and ideas.

The amazing response to our Super Creepshow Special made it clear we needed to create a miniseries,” said Ben Abernathy, Executive Editor at Skybound Entertainment. “It turns out, a lot of writers and artists loved the idea of adding superpowers to the scary Creepshow world!”

Stephen King’s 1982 horror comedy film, Creepshow, initially received mixed reviews. However, its box office success led to two sequels: Creepshow 2 (1987) and Creepshow 3 (2006). Notably, King wasn’t involved in the making of Creepshow 3. The original film was also adapted into a graphic novella, written by King and illustrated by Bernie and Michele Wrightson.

Greg Nicotero’s Creepshow debuted on Shudder in 2019 as a follow-up to the original movie. It ran for 23 episodes and included two special installments. The first season was well-received by both critics and viewers, and the series continued to earn mostly positive feedback over its entire run.

Last October, Skybound Entertainment published the Super Creepshow Special, allowing creators like Dan Watters, Ryan Stegman, and Ed Brisson to offer their unique and frightening takes on classic comic book themes. The issue was a big win for Skybound, adding to the publisher’s recent string of successful Creepshow comics.

Super Creepshow #1 goes on sale March 18, 2026 from Skybound Entertainment.
