My Hero Academia Creator Honors Uravity With Anime’s Penultimate Episode Release

The anime adaptation of My Hero Academia is ending next week, and creator Kohei Horikoshi is celebrating by releasing new artwork alongside each episode. He’s been doing this to showcase important characters, and the latest piece features Ochaco Uraraka. This artwork honors Uravity as she has a significant moment with her love interest, Izuku Midoriya, in the second-to-last episode.

With Shigaraki and All For One finally defeated, heroes of all ages are working to rebuild Hero Society. Class 1-A is also returning to school to continue training, though after everything they’ve accomplished, formal education seems almost unnecessary. In the latest episode, Ochaco faces a significant personal challenge: confessing her feelings to Deku. Throughout the final battle, both she and Toga fought not only for the future of Hero Society but also for Deku’s attention. This new scene provides the intimate moment fans have been hoping for, and author Kohei Horikoshi delivers with some fantastic new artwork, which you can find below.

What Will Happen in The Final Episode?

The final episode of My Hero Academia will show what happens both now and in the future. The manga’s ending included extra details about what life looks like for Class 1-A later on. Although it’s unclear exactly how the anime will conclude, Studio BONES has plenty of content from the manga to work with, and fans are eagerly discussing which scenes will be included.

Good news for fans of the My Hero Academia universe: the story won’t end with the main anime series next week! Season two of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is coming in January, continuing the adventures of Crawler, Pop Step, and Knuckleduster. While you shouldn’t expect to see Bakugo, Deku, or Todoroki in the spin-off, the anime is likely to feature other well-known heroes and explore their backstories – characters like Endeavor, All Might, Mirko, and Fat Gum will have their pasts revealed. Plus, there’s a chance a new My Hero Academia movie is being planned, since the last one wasn’t presented as the final installment. This new movie could potentially show Class 1-A as adults, taking place after the heroes have defeated the League of Villains.
