The Game Awards are almost here, and we’re starting to find out which games will be featured during the event.
We now know one of the upcoming LEGO games will be LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, as revealed on the game’s official social media pages.
We don’t know for sure what Geoff Keighley will reveal at his show, but we can make some educated predictions.
We expect the game to get a new trailer, and possibly show off some gameplay from a previously unseen part of the game. We also think they might announce a release date.
The game is currently planned for release in 2026, and announcing a specific date at The Game Awards would be a great way to finalize those plans.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, revealed at Gamescom this year, is a new action-adventure game from the experienced team at TT Games. The game lets you explore an open world inspired by the entire history of Batman – from comic books and movies to video games and beyond – and is designed as a celebration of everything Batman.
This game feels very much like the Batman: Arkham series. Early gameplay footage highlights similar stealth, combat, and movement mechanics, and a LEGO take on Rocksteady’s acclaimed games sounds fantastic.
We’re looking forward to seeing more, but what about you? Tell us in the comments section below.
