Square Enix revealed a new trailer for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, showcasing Sir Mervyn. He’s a knight from a sacred order who previously battled the Demon King.
Okay, so Sir Mervyn is seriously impressive! He’s a member of this powerful religious order, and get this – he actually fought with a god against the Demon King! Apparently, he’s a master swordsman and still has all the skills that made him a legendary hero. I’m already excited to see him in action!
The updated version of Dragon Quest VII, called Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, will be available on February 5, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC (through Steam and the Microsoft Store).
