Fergie had a feeling that Black Eyed Peas fans deserved a reunion—and she was right.
Taboo, will.i.am, APL.de.ap, and singer Fergie—the former members of the Black Eyed Peas—reunited after eight years following Fergie’s departure, to celebrate their 50th and 51st birthdays with some fashionable photos.
Fergie, who also turned 50, shared photos on Instagram from a recent get-together where she and her brothers celebrated their milestone birthdays. She captioned the pictures with pea and red heart emojis, writing, “What a special night filled with so much love.”
In the pictures, Fergie (born Stacy Ann Ferguson) is seen with her bandmates, wearing boot-cut jeans, a black crop top, and a red leather jacket. However, she wasn’t the only one with a strong sense of style that day.
Will.i.am, whose full name is William James Adams Jr., wore bright orange, oversized pants with a green quilted jacket. Taboo (Jaime Luis Gomez) and APL.DE.AP (Allan Pineda Lindo) both wore similar outfits that were completely black.
Recently, Fergie, who left the Black Eyed Peas in June 2017, has been appearing with former collaborators. Most recently, she surprised the audience at ONE Musicfest in Atlanta on October 26th by joining Ludacris on stage to perform their 2006 song, “Glamorous.”
After his impressive performance, the rapper known for “My Chick Bad” praised Fergie, who shares 12-year-old son Axl with her ex-husband, Josh Duhamel. He told the crowd that she hadn’t performed live in seven years.

Ludacris, also known as Christian Brian Bridges, shared a post on Instagram on October 27th celebrating a performance with Fergie of their famous duet. He wrote, “We Got FERGIE OUT THE HOUSE!” and added, “ATLANTA WENT CRAZY! Love to my Sis.”
Staying true to their long-standing friendship, she thanked Ludacris and everyone for letting her perform again.
She commented on the post, expressing her joy at being able to celebrate her colleague’s achievement and wishing them congratulations on reaching 25 years in their music career.
Fergie may have dominated the charts in the early 2000s, but now she’s dominating mom duties.
Will.i.am shared with Billboard in 2020, three years after Fergie left the Black Eyed Peas, that she’s prioritizing motherhood. He explained it’s a demanding role and something she truly wants to focus on, and that the group fully supports her decision. He added that Fergie had intentionally planned this transition, and they’re respecting her wishes, wishing her only the best.
