Season 13 of When Calls the Heart is almost here, but many fans are already excited about Season 14. That’s because Lori Loughlin is returning as Abigail Stanton for the first time in years! The cast recently got together with her and shared some fun videos to build excitement for her return.
Shortly after it was announced that Lori Loughlin would return to Hallmark, the cast had a get-together. She attended, and Pascale Hutton (who plays Rosemary) shared a delightful Instagram video of the event – you can see it here:

It truly felt like the entire cast was reunited! The video features Danica McKellar alongside familiar faces like Andrew Walker, Erin Krakow, Ben Rosenbaum, Viv Leacock, Jack Wagner, Chris McNally, and Kavan Smith. Everyone seemed genuinely excited to welcome the Full House actress back, and that positive energy was clear at the event.

Besides the video we just saw, When Calls the Heart and Erin Krakow also shared a clip of them surprising fans at the Hallmark Christmas Experience with Candace Cameron Bure. It’s easy to understand why people are so excited about Lori Loughlin returning to the show. She hasn’t been on since Season 6 in 2019. After the college admissions scandal, many wondered if she’d ever reappear on When Calls the Heart, and fans have been hoping for her return ever since.
Lori Loughlin briefly returned as Abigail in the series When Hope Calls in 2021, appearing in just two episodes. She’s now set to have a significantly larger part in Season 14 of When Calls the Heart. According to USA Today, she’ll be in six of the twelve episodes, with filming scheduled for 2026 and a planned release date in 2027.
We’ll have to wait a bit longer for Lori Loughlin to be back on When Calls the Heart, but good news! Season 13 will start airing on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, January 4th at 8 p.m. Eastern Time, giving us something new to enjoy in the meantime.
