America’s Top Anime Action RPG Reveals Own KPop Demon Hunters

Forget what you know about KPop Demon Hunters – a fresh group of powerful and energetic idol girls is about to make their debut.

I recently got a peek at what Hoyoverse, the creators of popular games, has been working on for their new action RPG, Zenless Zone Zero. They showed off some gameplay of a new character, Ye Shun­guang, who’s unique because she can switch between two different fighting styles. But the really exciting part was getting a first look at a new group in the game called Angels of Delusion. They’re a pop idol faction with three heroines that have a cool sci-fi and fantasy vibe.

Zenless Zone Zero Unveils First Dual-Form Agent and Teases New Idol Faction

Ye Shunguang is a character known as a Void Hunter, and she belongs to the Yunkui Summit group. She joins other top agents in the game, like Ju Fufu. According to an official announcement, Ye Shunguang is the first character in Zenless Zone Zero who can switch between two different fighting styles. She uses a sword and can move quickly, both in the air and with powerful finishing moves.

Ye Shunguang will be joined by Zhao, described as a charming but clever character who fights with a large axe. The latest preview also revealed that the Angels of Delusion are finally coming, and their upcoming performance suggests important story details will be unveiled soon. The Angels of Delusion are also known as A.O.D.

The team behind Zenless Zone Zero shared that the game has improved and expanded over the last year thanks to the amazing support of players worldwide. They’re committed to delivering fun experiences with distinctive art, exciting battles, and ongoing updates. With new characters and improved gameplay coming soon, Zenless Zone Zero aims to bring the thrill of action games to even more people around the globe.

Right now, players can still try to get Banyue, a character who can knock out opponents with her huge, ghostly hands. Her limited-time availability starts on November 26, 2025, and ends on December 17, 2025, after which her special banner will be released.

Banyue is a top-tier fighter known as an S-Rank Fire Rupture agent and a highly skilled martial artist. He’s developed a unique and powerful fighting style by combining many different techniques. His attacks flow seamlessly together, powered by a mix of speed and fiery energy. Players who learn the timing of his moves will be greatly rewarded.

From December 17th to December 29th, 2025, players will have a chance to get Ellen, the popular shark girl maid, through a rerun of her special gacha banner. This event will run alongside a promotional banner for Banyue.

You can download and play Zenless Zone Zero for free on PC, phones, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The popular anime RPG Genshin Impact is also free to play on those same devices. While Honkai: Star Rail isn’t currently available on Xbox, you can enjoy it on PC, mobile devices, and PlayStation 5.
