GSC Game World recently released a large update for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl to mark its launch on PlayStation 5, and they’re adding even more content soon. Tomorrow, players can experience a new story featuring eight quests and several hours of gameplay across seven brand-new locations. You can watch the trailer for the “Stories Untold” update below.
Okay, so I’m playing, and this guy Malachite picks up a weird signal in the Zone. It’s messing with the Stalkers, giving them headaches and seriously messing with their heads. I’m helping Banzi and Professor Medulin figure out what’s going on, but things get intense fast and we need backup. I actually got a distress call while I was exploring, and it looks like I need to head into the Red Forest to see what’s really happening.
Players can now explore a new hub in the Burnt Forest, featuring a trader, guide, and other helpful characters. A new weapon, the GP37V2, has also been added. It’s an updated version of the GP37, equipped with a suppressor and offering both single-shot and burst-fire options, and it can be customized to fit your playstyle.
