Orlando Bloom Teases His Ideal Partner After Katy Perry Breakup

Orlando Bloom isn’t thinking about the one that got away.

Six months after ending his engagement with Katy Perry, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor revealed the two traits he’s looking for in a future partner.

In a TikTok video posted on December 13th, Orlando playfully answered a question about whether he’d prefer a partner with good fashion sense or a lot of money.

When asked to choose, he jokingly replied to Maurice Kamara of the People Gallery, “You’re making me pick one?”

I’ve been following Orlando’s story, and it sounds like he’s had some time to reflect since his split from Katy, especially as they co-parent their adorable five-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.

Orlando, looking stylish in a Prada jacket, sweater, and jeans, also shared some words of encouragement for people going through difficult times.

The actor from Haven encouraged viewers to start doing something—anything. He advised getting moving, establishing a routine, and focusing on physical activity to break free from overthinking. His message was to simply get started and keep creating.

Katy and Orlando haven’t publicly explained why their relationship ended, but Katy has hinted at the reasons in her song, ‘Bandaids’.

In the song, the singer, now 41 and dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, reflects on past disappointment. She sings about becoming accustomed to being let down, and realizes that apologies like sending flowers are too late. She admits to foolishly hoping for change from someone who consistently hurt her, comparing it to putting a temporary fix on a deeply broken heart.

Orlando, who shares 14-year-old son Flynn with his ex-wife Miranda Kerr, practiced what he preached when it came to creative work. He’d previously explained that working on The Cut helped him heal and move on after his breakup with Katy Perry.
