It’s that time of year – for season 2 of Fallout! While everyone’s talking about the new Fallout TV show on Amazon, players of Fallout Shelter have a special holiday surprise waiting for them, too.
First released in 2015, this mobile game lets players create and run their own Vault. Now, after years of play, Bethesda is celebrating with what they’re calling the biggest update since they added Quests in 2016.
Fallout Shelter is getting Seasons, which are regular updates that add special, temporary Vaults to the game. These Vaults are different from the ones players already manage.
Each Season will feature a distinct theme and give players challenges to overcome. There will also be a Battle Pass, and both the challenges and the Battle Pass will reward players with exclusive in-game items like weapons and characters.

To mark the start of Season 2 of the Fallout TV show, Bethesda is introducing ‘Viva New Vegas’ – a new set of quests where players work to rebuild New Vegas and Novac.
Throughout the experience, you’ll meet characters from the show – like Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul – and each will give you unique challenges to complete.
Even though some players might not like the Battle Pass system, Bethesda has announced that there will be both a free and a paid option. This means you can experience each new Season without spending any money if you choose.
Don’t worry if you skip a Season Pass during a Season – you’ll be able to buy it later and still get all the content. You won’t miss out!
The Season Pass offers a ton of rewards like pets, outfits, and weapons, with the ultimate prize being the legendary Dweller, Mr. House.
