New PS5 Pro Patch Fixes Skate Story Performance, For the Most Part
On December 15th, the official Skate Story account on Bluesky announced a new update for the PlayStation 5 Pro. This patch fixed bugs and improved performance, making the game run smoother. Players had reported problems with stuttering and freezing when the game first launched, which significantly impacted the fast-paced skating experience on the PS5 Pro.
Skate Story isn’t the only game that’s had performance problems on the new PS5 Pro. Since the upgraded console launched, many players have been disappointed with frame rate and optimization issues compared to the original PS5. This independent skateboarding RPG is just the newest example of a game struggling to run its best on the console and overcome its specific technical hurdles.
